I was waited on promptly. I was able to get a courtesy ride back to my home while they serviced my car for an oil change and tire rotation. Instead of listening to my concern or even suggest test driving to understand the issue and take the time to properly diagnose before assuming, and fixing things that aren’t broken, then even break other c driving to understand the issue and take the time to properly diagnose before assuming, and fixing things that aren’t broken, then even break other components that were fine, ultimately just run the service tab up on the warranty. 5k later, still have the same issue; Few months back They kept the car for a 3-4 months saying the part it need was back ordered, got the car back with bodily damage, and even my designer sunglasses missing with no explanation. Ive been the most patient and understanding the whole 2 years of service until it became more and more evident these people are shady. Imagine they are telling me one thing about the car, and my former high school classmates is a technician there and telling me whats really going on. yea, very disappointing. And because of my experience at Vera, i doubt i will buy another Cadillac. I very well understand technology isn’t perfect, everything has faults. But the service!! I believe in full transparency when doing business, and i would be lying to say i got that from vera. I could've decided to not commit to doing service at vera because of the semi smeared reputation i got from former customers, Google, and even employees. but i gave the benefit of the doubt, mainly cause its 2 miles from my house. I recently brought my vehicle to the dealership for a transmission issue. I was assigned Giovanni Rubio as my service advisor. Everything started well and negatively escalated quickly. I was presented an inflated estimate for $7800 to make a fairly routine repair. Upon questioning the pricing and requesting the labor rate I was disregarded and instructed to pick my vehicle up. After paying my agreed troubleshooting fee of $340 I took my vehicle and proceeded to find another service provider. 2 other providers quoted me no more than $1400 for the complete repair listed from Vera. This is absolutely absurd from the homegrown dealership that prides itself on honesty and integrity regardless of the cost. This feels more like let me take advantage of whoever I can when I can!! My trust in the auto industry has been damaged by the actions of a few individuals. I would hope the management team would address this with training and use this opportunity to improve your services but we all know the actions of a team member are directly driven by the actions of his or her manager. The leadership at Vera could stand to improve the actual culture and not just spread empty promises and mantras. More
