We are a long time customer with a Cadillac and a Buick. Last visit for Buick , scheduled recall work . Eric was Service manage . He said it would take a couple hours . I said fine I will work in lounge . A Last visit for Buick , scheduled recall work . Eric was Service manage . He said it would take a couple hours . I said fine I will work in lounge . After 3 and half hours and no one came to me for update I went to Eric. I asked do you have a update for me. He said “They are working on it” I said that is not a answer nor is it telling me anything. He said I told you it would take a couple hours. I said Yes and it has been 3 and half . After he saw I was getting upset for his lack of communication and customer service he pulled up a pic on the phone and said they were having trouble get a piece off. After the vehicle was finished and I checked out I saw Eric in the hallway. I spoke to him about how his answers were upsetting and not customer service . I advised that “They are Working on it “ is not a answer . Neither is “ I told you it was going to take a couple hours” . I reminded him he was the CS rep and he should of kept me informed especially if they were going to take longer. I should not of had to come to him. That his answer did not provide me with any info . We all have to plan and adjust . Things happen but we base what is next off of info. Working on it does not help me. The fact they were having trouble getting a part off is info . It may take longer is info . Detail of what is going on . I will not return to this dealership as there is no value in customer service . You have lost a customer. More
