However, our salesman, CJ, forgot to attach the paper te My experience at Velocity started out well and we ended up purchasing a car at a fair price. However, our salesman, CJ, forgot to attach the paper temporary tag to the car. When we got home and discovered it was missing, we called CJ and he promised to get right back to us. He never called back. When I called again, he said he was not able to find the temporary plate and that he would overnight a new one to us. He did not follow up and never sent anything. I finally had to call back and speak to a manager who agreed to help. Hopefully the tag is on its way. It's too bad - this dealership has the potential to be great but it was all ruined with awful customer service. More

Car Broke Down, Finance Guy Laughed in our Face We went to test drive a car at Velocity auto sales. The battery was dead and had to be jump started. After jumpstarting the car we drove 3 miles down the road and it stalled while driving 50 mph in traffic. It took 20 minutes after we called for someone to come and get us. When we got back to the dealer we asked the Sales guy if he coudl give us a small discount of a couple hundred dollars for our trouble and he said he could do anything but that Finance would help us out. When I got into the Finance office, explained all of our troubles during our 2 hour visit and asked if he'd be willing to take a few hundred dollars off, he responded (verbatim), "this is the price, if you can't pay it, go somewhere else". On the way out (obviously i'm not buying it at that point), I asked for the name of the owners, explaining I wanted to provide him with some feedback when he gets back in and was told by the sales manager on duty (verbatim), "We don't give out the name of our Owner". SO, you tell me, do you want to do business at this place. By the way, I looked up the owners name and it is Marcus Blair. Too bad Marcus doesn't make it easy for customers to give him feedback...if they did, they might do more business. Prices are competitive at Velocity, on the low end, but 90% of the cars we have looked at were from Rental Car agencies so that had heavy wear and tear for 3 year old vehicles.I More

I WAS DEEPLY DISSAPIONTED, BEWARE!!!!!!! I went to velocity twice to see if I could buy a vehicle through them, I was already approved through my credit union. The first time I went the s I went to velocity twice to see if I could buy a vehicle through them, I was already approved through my credit union. The first time I went the sale's guy was rude because I complained about a couple of things on the vehicle, the second time trying to overlook my experience a few days later due to really liking the vehicle (dispite the few digs on the car), I went to talk to them again, already pre approve and ready to hand my credit union check, I was surprised by their FEES!! Doc fee $399? Just so they can send your paperwork to the DMV, when in reality you can spend an afternoon and do it yourself.. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS REQUIRED! No it isn't required!! You can buy a vehicle out the door with taxes and do it yourself. Then the finance manager wanted to slap another $250 - $290 for theft insurance??? IT IS NOT REQUIRED EITHER!! Finance manager was SOO RUDE!!! in attitude and did not want to negotiate for just car price, taxes, & such without adding another $700 in FEES!! I TELL YOU BEWARE THEY TELL YOU THESE FEES ARE MANDATORY BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE ROBBING YOU OUT IF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! P.S. To be fair Ty (Sales man) 2nd time around was a sweetheart, BUT EVERTHING ELSE WAS NOT A PLEASENT EXPERIENCE!! More

Good service, at a fair price I had my doubts buying from Velocity. I looked them up based on a referral. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't attacked once I pulled I had my doubts buying from Velocity. I looked them up based on a referral. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't attacked once I pulled into the lot. There weren't any fast talking, typical used car lot lizards lurking about. The guys were willing and pleasant about getting test drives set up. Financing had a little salesmanship to it regarding extended warranties, but not pushy. I thought the dealership fees were a bit high, and I think the "no haggle" label is often times a great place to hide the built in revenue needs. All in all, I would refer a friend, and I will more than likely give Velocity my first perusal on my next purchase. More

They don't care about you after you buy the car. Pros: Excellent prices on used car and a hefty inventory. Sales men are super helpful and attentive. My car battery died 2 months after I bought the car. I called to ask if this was something they were going to replace or if I had to purchase a new one. The gentleman over the phone told me to come in and speak with his mechanic. I thanked him, asked for his name, and he asked me why I needed his name ... and then argued with me over why he didn't need to give me his name and hanged up on me. I called back, demanded to speak with a manager or supervisor to explained my frustration over someone not wanting to give me their name, just so I can have it on record, and being hanged up on. The first thing that manager said "Well he gave you the name of the mechanic ...". I had to explain to the MANAGER that it wasn't the name of the mechanic I wanted, I wanted the name of the person that gave me the name of the mechanic. I also had to explain to him how it appeared he was defending his sales associate horrible customer service because not once did he apologize, instead defend his associates actions bad actions. It wasn't until I explained this to him that he started to understand where I was coming from. He went to tell me who my original sales man was, and how they want their clients to work with their original sales man. Which is all fine and dandy if they opened up that way, instead of being jerks, blatantly arguing with me, then hanging up on me. At this point, I was arguing with the manager about how he supported such horrible behavior from his sales team. I wanted to speak with the mechanic they had working on the weekend, and MAN they did not want me to speak with him, they just wanted me to come in ... They said since the service desk is closed on the weekend, they can't call to ask ... I asked if he could just text him or page him to call me, which he said not really since he only speaks Spanish ... which I responded with I speak Spanish. After that string of excuses to not get me not to speak with the mechanic, I finally got a hold of the mechanic. The mechanic was the nicest guy. After an hour on the phone, with the sale associate, then manager, and the mechanic, I still have to buy a battery. Which is ok, it just shouldn't take me an hour to find out if I had to buy a battery or if they'll replace it for me. Should of been an easy thing to find out. TL;DR Great place to buy a car and affordable prices, rude sales team after they got you out of their lot with one of their cars. Don't expect a long term relationship/support with these guys. More

The sales process was quick and easy, especially compared to our previous experience purchasing from dealerships that took hours and hours. My only frustration was that there was a misunderstanding regarding a new part that we needed. One person told us they were ordering it in, but when I called back to go pick it up they didn't know what we were talking about and said we had to make an appointment and come back to the repair shop so they could see what part we needed. Also, they only gave us one key and we had to buy another from somewhere else. More
