Be Prepared For A Fight I am sure glad that I waiting to write this review. I knew I should not have trusted this dealership. The saying is true, "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is." So just this week I received a bunch of warnings from credit institutions because Velocity cars took so long to send the pay off check for the ~$170.00 left on my lease. But because of this my credit score which was near perfect and had zero blemishes on it has taken a ding and dropped an immediate 30 points. All thanks to the laziness of this dealership and not send out the payoff check in an efficient manner. All of this and now the drivers seat is starting to come apart on a 2016 vehicle I bought from this dealership. But I am going to wait and see what other issues pop up before I make my claim against the warranty I got through the company. Which I am sure I will find out doesn't cover any of issues I am running into. More

I wasn't there to negotiate a monthly payment, I was there to negotiate price. When we got to the finance manager he was a complete xxx. I was a little taken back by the $399 doc fee which is on the high side for Utah. I then caught his $299 on the contract and asked what it was. He explained it was a required Auto-theft insurance. I asked, "Shouldn't that be optional? Why should I pay my regular insurance provider for that and pay you for that?" He couldn't say anything but "we require all of that on our cars!" I pressed him a bit but same answer all three times I asked. The way he said it too really pissed me off and he then proceeded to say we move 450 cars/month. My response was "that's fine." From there he was really going to have to make up lost ground. He tried to make it up by asking about what I was willing to pay monthly and I straight forward told him I'm not here to negotiate monthly payment. I'm preapproved and I have a max I can put down and max I'm willing to take on a loan. He came down to $99 on that xxxxxxxxx Auto-Theft Insurance "fee" and I think that pissed me off more. I walked. Didn't care to shake his hand and said too bad for you, we're in no rush and it's only our first week looking at cars. Don't waste your time here. They all have really nice computers there and they take really nice pictures of their inventory. They are better at marketing than they are at customer service. More

Easy going and efficient I called and told Jayson what car I wanted to look at and that I'd be there in 10 minutes. When I got there, he had it running and let me take it for I called and told Jayson what car I wanted to look at and that I'd be there in 10 minutes. When I got there, he had it running and let me take it for a test drive for as long as I needed. No pressure or push from him or the other employees. The finance manager was especially friendly, and helped me get everything situated for my first car purchase. The whole process was almost seamless, and I drove off the lot in about an hour. More

Then when I met with Cory one of the finance managers there, he took the time to explain everything and fought to get me a great deal! I seriously could not be happier with my purchase and my overall experience! What a great dealer and what an amazing team they have working there!!!! They will have my business for life!!!!! Glass Etching Scam. No matter how nice your sales person seemed, when you went into the the finance managers office... you got scammed. They pull a couple of scams. Whether you liked it or not ...wanted it or not ... you paid an additional $300 for the vehicle ID number to be etched on the glass of the car. The service has been proven worthless as a theft deterrent. They have no shame. If you don't want to pay for it they will tell you to walk. The Attorney Generals in many states are going after dealerships that still play this game. Look it up on line. They won't tell you about the charge until you have invested half your day or evening going through the "purchase process". I wish someone had warned me ahead of time. I never would have set foot on the lot. They will lure you in with good prices in the adds then make it up later in the final creative paperwork. You have been warned. . More

However, our salesman, CJ, forgot to attach the paper te My experience at Velocity started out well and we ended up purchasing a car at a fair price. However, our salesman, CJ, forgot to attach the paper temporary tag to the car. When we got home and discovered it was missing, we called CJ and he promised to get right back to us. He never called back. When I called again, he said he was not able to find the temporary plate and that he would overnight a new one to us. He did not follow up and never sent anything. I finally had to call back and speak to a manager who agreed to help. Hopefully the tag is on its way. It's too bad - this dealership has the potential to be great but it was all ruined with awful customer service. More
