I found an affordable model, was on the phone all day with a woman named Rachel. I planned on coming the next day as soon as I could get out from work with great credit, a vehicle to trade in, etc. We were going to drive 2 hours away, but everything was set. I checked the carfax online the next morning and the car was suddenly marked as sold. I called to confirm and they said they sold it. A courtesy call would have been nice or a notification that others were also requesting to see it so I could have moved on to another vehicle. The car was a 2017 Sante Fe Sport. It was for a little over $15,000. They had a similar vehicle that was a 2015, but for the same price. I asked if they would consider lowering the price because it was 2 years older. The manager (I think his name was Chris) said a flat out no. No apology for wasting my time. No reconsideration to keep me as a customer. Rachel was MIA. Save your time. To xxxx with this place. More
Run far far away I found a decent deal from this company in SC. I was coming from VA. Almost a 6 hour drive. I asked the salesperson if there was any damage on the vehicle. She told me the car was in perfect condition. I told her I would be leaving at 3 am, so I could get there when they opened at 9, to please have everything cleaned and ready to go, so I could get going back to VA. I arrived at 9:30am. The car wasn't cleaned. The fuel tank was empty. The car has scratches and dents all over the vehicle. I pointed them out, and asked why I was told it was in perfect condition. The manager then told me they don't consider scratches and dents to be damage. I was completely blown away at how terrible the management is here. They offered to have the vehicle buffed out to see if they could fix some of the DAMAGE. It is now close to 1130am. I go in the back to watch the work done, and the manager walks up to me, and TELLS me to go back up front. We get into a bit of an argument. I end up watching some more of the work with him standing next to me. I finally get to take a look at the vehicle, and it looks terrible. 4.5 hours later, it finally looks barely presentable. I go in, and paperwork takes another 45 minutes. I leave close to 3pm. Fast forward 3 weeks, looking for dmv and titling info, and I have to call 5 times, and am promised a call back every time. They give generic info, say their titling is in another building, tells me his daughter is sick, and couldn't call me back. Blah blah blah excuses excuses, over and over again. The manager has the audacity to blame everything on the salesperson, and refuses to step up to the plate for anything. The salesperson Rachel, did seem like she was trying hard to get things rolling. However, seeing the management she has to deal with, I can't imagine she could have done anything more. My suggestion is that you run far, far away from this dealership, and their xxxx poor customer service/follow through/communication. You will regret it if you don't. More
Complete lack of integrity SHADY SHADY SHADY!!! I cannot recall the last time I have worked with a group of people lacking integrity like those at Vehicle's Direct. I found a v SHADY SHADY SHADY!!! I cannot recall the last time I have worked with a group of people lacking integrity like those at Vehicle's Direct. I found a vehicle on their website and everything looked fine. I talked with Lydia and Deangelo, who both told me specifically that the body/paint were in great condition and the car was mechanically solid. I went through with all of the paperwork and asked again if the car was in good condition before sending someone here from Michigan to get the car. Upon arrival, it was clear that they had done a shoddy job of repairing some paint work on the right front fender of the vehicle. I spoke with both sales managers, who both said that it wasn't their fault that the car wasn't as previously described and they were unwilling to move on the price, which was full asking price. I decided to proceed with the transaction, against my better judgement, since I had already spent $800 to fly someone there to get the car. By the time the car made it back, the rear differential was grinding and whining so loud that you could not even have a conversation in the car. So the car went to a repair shop where the repair was quoted at $7400 to replace the rear differential. While in the shop, they spun the wheels(which had been very cheaply refinished to give a good appearance) and 3 out of 4 wheels were bent so bad that they could not be repaired.... Another $4000 for replacement wheels. There were multiple areas in the bodywork/paint that had been cheaply repaired just to get the car off the lot. All said and done, I was told by multiple sales people and sales managers that the car was in good working order and aesthetically good condition, and I received a car that needed almost $14,000 in repairs just to get it in working order and on the road. I have called and left multiple messages for the General Manager, Brad, with not a single return call. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. If it were an option to give a review of zero stars, I would. They definitely did not earn the one star that I am required to give. More
Buying experience in fourteen years. I haven't been on a lot in over fourteen years to purchase a car so I was a little afraid of what the salesman would try to pull on a female but this I haven't been on a lot in over fourteen years to purchase a car so I was a little afraid of what the salesman would try to pull on a female but this experience was awesome. The salesman Tyrone along with the manger Anthony make the choice and purchase easy. I first saw the car on the internet and saw that it was at a local car dealer when I decided to go in to check the car out all the information that was listed was excactly the real information. I would recommand Vehicles Direct to anyone that's looking for an affordable car with no hidden cost. All the salemen are great but see the best Tyrone. More
