Brian Billings is a cocky, arrogate, jerk who made my boyfriend and I feel like we’re criminals while we attempted to look for a new Lincoln. We were driving the parking lot of Vasity and although there were plenty of employees walking around no one greeted us, nor did they come out when we were taking pictures of a certain MKZ that we liked the color of but didn’t have the package we wanted. We drove over to their body shop parking lot where they have “overflow” of new inventory and then headed back to the main building to do another pass, we were leaving when we noticed the back lot behind/beside the store so we parked in the Sams Club parking lot and preceded to walk into this lot. The first car I walked up to happened to be unlocked I opened the door not really on purpose just out of habit of feeling the door handles. I closed the door almost immediately without even touching anything inside the car, and moved on. At some point I received an email for work and looked down at my phone to reply, an employee from the dealership approached my boyfriend and asked “did you need something”, he replied that we were just looking around and then the employee said “he was opening doors” looking at me. I replied that yes I opened one car door and they said they were closed, that we couldn’t be here and needed to leave, and that I shouldn’t open car doors. He then went out to our car proceeded to call someone and read off our license plate of our 2011 MKZ and watch as we drove off. Would this have happened if we were in our Black Label Continental that we just returned as we wait for the Aviator? A) it’s a dealership cars are meant to be looked at B) it was maybe 6:15 and the dealership closed at 6 so had someone come up to us before we might have known C) if we aren’t supposed to be somewhere typically there is a gate or signage stating this. D) I am a 29 year old man walking around with my 27 year old boyfriend I was not doing anything harmful. We started walking back to our car and another employee whispered “you shouldn’t be here” as we walked by. If this is customer service we’ll gladly take our business to Hines Park who is always helpful and also has a full fledged gate cordoning off the inventory they don’t want the public to have access to. Great experience!! Purchasing a car from Mike Cash was a very pleasant experience, unlike other dealerships where the salesperson may not be interested in helping you ch Purchasing a car from Mike Cash was a very pleasant experience, unlike other dealerships where the salesperson may not be interested in helping you chose what's best for you, Mike listened, gave advice and did not pressure us into something we couldn't afford or weren't interested in just to sell a car. Jere Law was also a pleasure to do business with, having a down to earth demeanor , he was very easy to talk to. We were certainly satisfied, and will return in the future when looking for another car. More
Best of the Best Varsity Lincoln is without a doubt the ONLY Lincoln dearlership that my wife and I will go to. Having 3 other dealerships closer to our home than Vars Varsity Lincoln is without a doubt the ONLY Lincoln dearlership that my wife and I will go to. Having 3 other dealerships closer to our home than Varsity we have now purchased 2 cars from them and will be returning customers. Let me start off with who in my opinion is the best salesman I have dealt with in over 40 years of purchasing cars Mario Seman and it continues with the general manager Jere Law who I’ve come to respect as a true gentleman and this speaks volumes. From start to finish this dealership truely puts you at ease. No disappointments at Varsity. Sincerely D Calvisi. More

repaired wrong item On Wednesday and Thursday of this week I’ve had the “pleasure” in dealing with Varsity Ford on Grand River in Novi. I had made an appointment Wednesd On Wednesday and Thursday of this week I’ve had the “pleasure” in dealing with Varsity Ford on Grand River in Novi. I had made an appointment Wednesday to have a rear wheel bearing replaced (ominous drone coming from the rear). I managed to get the car there at 7:45 AM and told Jen (service write-up) of my suspicion. I was asked if there was anything else. I told her about the change-lane indicator being out and that I was getting poorer gas mileage, probably from the dying wheel bearing. She confirmed I had paid for an extended warranty and much of this was probably covered. At 4:00 PM that day I called to check on the status of the car and was told that the tech had not inspected the wheel bearing but the wiring for the change lane indicator was on deck. I reminded Jen that I had an appointment that day to have the bearing addressed and I would be in Thursday to pick up the car. 8:00 AM Thursday I was there to get the car. Jen went to check on it and informed me that they just pulled it into the service bay. I reminded her again of my appointment and she retorted that I had it in for three things: bearing, gas mileage and change lane light. In many industries this might be called “goldbricking.” The change lane indicator was secondary and the lower gas mileage was diagnostic of the wheel bearing. The car was ready for me in the parking lot and the $100 deductible for the wiring done could be paid at the cashier. Here is my perspective on this. You walk into an optical shop (office) to get a scratch on your prescription glasses repaired. The tech confirms the paid lens warranty is still in effect. Anything else need to be addressed (goldbricking). Yes, the nosepads seem to be worn out. An appointment is made so that the new lenses can be cut to your frame and inserted. You drop the glasses off a few days later for the service – call that afternoon to check on status, only to find that although the lenses were in stock the optician was backed up and could not get to your job. You pick up your glasses the following morning to find the scratches intact and that there is a $10 charge for the nosepads. Obvious questions are: 1. Doesn’t an appointment imply commitment and consequently some priority? 2. Do you pay for a warranty to mitigate risk or to enable the vendor to sell you other products? Sincerely, James R.
