Eight months ago I contacted Vara Chevrolet to inquire about buying the soon-to-be-released Corvette Z06. They added me to a list as #1 position. Over the next 6 months I contacted them to see if I need about buying the soon-to-be-released Corvette Z06. They added me to a list as #1 position. Over the next 6 months I contacted them to see if I need to take further action. On one occasion I spoke to the sales manager, Ralph, who confirmed I was first on the list. I also received an email response stating that I was #1 on the list. Ralph, the sales manager, did not respond to my phone calls over the next several months. I finally decided to call one of their salesmen. The salesman said that they started taking deposits and I'd be #19 if I wanted to put a deposit down for the car. I would have gladly put a deposit on the car if they'd contacted me as expected, but no way would I do business with a dealership that didn't contact me as expected months ago (not to mention they never returned phone calls). This was a horrible customer experience. I will buy the car elsewhere and I recommend others do not do business with Vara Chevrolet. More
