Well I knew my wife wanted an Odyssey so I started doing some research as to whom I would talk to while I was there. I found dealerrater and started my research. I saw how awesome Nancy Goodwin was, so I called her to see if by chance she sold cars there to. She did not though but connected me with another awesome sales rep. I spoke with Shirley McKinney and I told her where i was coming from so I was serious about making something happen that evening. I don't drive 1.5 hours one way for anything. I arrived there about 8 and soon met Shirley, who was pleasant. We took a test drive and when we arrived back at the dealership it was probably a little after 9 by then. We had been locked out, but went around the side. This is when it go interesting. Apparently the manager there was ready to go or I don't know what, but as I was waiting along with a couple other customers a big verbal fight ensued between my sales person and what I presume was one of the managers. It was mainly him yelling at her for whatever reason at a distance to where customers like myself could hear no problem. Hard to hear. I was pretty upset that someone could treat their employees like that, much less someone like Shirley. I did not want to do business with them after that. The only thing that kept me there was Shirley even though I heard him tell her she was fired. She kept her professionalism and even though I could tell she had cried, she kept on. We got within 1000 dollars of getting a deal done, but the manager was obviously ready to go and at that point I was too. The funny thing is the price moved to the price I wanted the next week, so I know the deal could have gotten done that day. The most unfortunate thing was that Shirley, my salesperson had to go through that, and she is no longer with them, probably in direct relation to that incident. It's a shame they lost a great employee, she will do great elsewhere and will be better respected. I cannot in good faith recommend Vandergriff Toyota. Although besides Shirley, Nancy was awesome to speak with, I can see why she is spoken so highly of. A manager did call me to apologize for the incident after an email to them. More

My decision to purchase a car was quick as my transmission was going on my old car. We went to Toyota Vandergriff in Arlington and met Joyce Ilegbodu. Her customer service was superb and within a short amount of time I was driving off the lot with my new Corolla. I was never pressured to go higher than my price point or to purchase more extras than I needed or wanted. Nick Kaba worked me on financing and Desi Dusina assisted me and kept me informed before driving off the lot. The entire process was fast and stress free. My entire experience was outstanding and I am very happy with my car. More

My Car is Running Again! I found Nancy Goodwin by referral when my car broke down on the other side of the freeway from the dealership. Tried to get ripped off Was told that while my vehicle was on the lift for sometime they decided to check my battery because they said there was a problem starting. How and why is my vehicle being started on the lift. Was told my battery was going bad and needed to be replaced. I had recently purchased a new battery a couple of years ago. I took it to the auto parts store where I had bought the battery to get second reading since it was still in warranty. Checked out just fine no problems with battery. I had been watching my volt meter and never once did the needle move from center. Was told I needed to have my tires rotated. Well with in the year I had just had my tires balanced and rotated already. Was told my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. Well I had just replaced my cabin air filter within the year. Have not gone anywhere that there would be a lot of dirt. Just replaced my air filter at the same time. Was told I needed a new air filter also. Never was told about what I knew was wrong and that I needed to get done in the near future, ie oil change since my maintenance light was on. I asked about getting it inspected. Was told I had to drive 100-150 miles for my check engine light would go off. Well someone reset my light which was illegal and only the owner could reset the light. With the light reset an inspection could have been done. I have a warped front brake rotor which no one seemed to catch. Tried to sell me services I had already done and not sell me the services I needed done which I knew about. So how do I know whats wrong and they don't catch but try to sell me services I already have had done. Who reset my light without my knowledge or approval? Why then was an inspection not asked to be done since I brought it up at the beginning? More

60,000 miles maintenance. My experience was great! Everyone was very friendly. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. They also had free refreshments including Starbucks My experience was great!
