I initially signed a contract for a 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited on December 12th, 2024, but the loan fell through. I returned on December 20th to sign a new contract, but even now, on January 6th, 2025, the loan still hasn’t processed. When I visited the dealership today to return the truck, I was initially met with understanding from Favour and Steven, who were cordial and professional. However, Marvin Hall Jr. quickly escalated the situation when he came to Steven’s desk. I explained that I couldn’t keep the truck without an approved loan and requested my down payment back. Instead of handling the matter professionally, Marvin insisted on keeping the truck and my down payment, claiming he needed to "get paid for the vehicle." To make matters worse, he made a comment about not being a rental company and even threatened legal action against me using Berkshire Hathaway lawyers—completely unprovoked. Adding to the frustration, they conveniently mentioned I needed to send them a bill only after I made it clear I was turning in the truck. This felt like a last-minute attempt to complicate the process further. I literally had to call the cops which isn't a good look for any dealership let along Toyota due to the outstanding track record. Marvin’s approach showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of empathy for my situation. I expected a more respectful and solution-oriented response, especially considering the circumstances. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied, and I strongly caution others when dealing with Marvin Hall Jr. at Toyota Vandergriff. Customer service should prioritize resolving issues, not exacerbating them. I will never step foot on this property again. More
I just purchased a RAV4 Hybrid at Vandergriff Toyota. Arturo Vallez was the sales person who helped me by making the transaction seamless. My wife bought a RAV4 Hybrid from Arturo last year, and had the same great experience. If you are looking for or thinking about buying a new car, I would highly recommend going to Vandergriff Toyota and ask for Arturo. More
Extremely long story I will try and shorten - car stopped driving and was towed in for service (company car). - received no progress updates on vehicle, all updates were me asking about the car. - stopped driving and was towed in for service (company car). - received no progress updates on vehicle, all updates were me asking about the car. - quoted being completed last Thursday 9/5. - didn’t hear back from the service advisor at all last week until I texted on 9/7 asking about car - was then informed that the tech had lost my key fob during the test drive and they needed to order a new one to replace it and I had to drop my other key to program it - drop fob on Tuesday 9/10 SA said will be done same day - no call, I text asking if it’s done, he says yes. - get there at 5:30 and get keys from cashier both keys are old and no new fob - i then see the huge grease stain in the photos below and get the car back on Empty, zero mile range. - i check the mileage log to report to work and see it was last driven on 9/3 - so the key was “lost” and I had to go up there for no reason? Why wasn’t anything communicated to me prior to me reaching out on 9/7. - then to get the car back dirty, and with ZERO gas, like seriously guys xxx. I wasn’t expecting it to be full, but like maybe half a gallon — it’s a Prius not a tundra or sequoia. I will go further from my home to have my vehicle serviced from now on. This was extremely disappointing from so many aspects. DO NOT RECOMMEND. After leaving my review, the Service Advisor, Chris, texted me saying my poor review impacted his pay, and that my review wasnt warranted because I had a company fleet vehicle and I wasn't paying for it. I told him, if he wanted better reviews he should be more transparent for his customers. More
Definitely a bait and switch operation. Red flag #1 Online advertised price included over $3100 dealer discount. When I inquired about the price, I was told that was a "mistake" done by a third party and they are trying to fix that. Red flag #2 I asked for the pricing detail as that was not on the website. I was sent link, still with no price detail. Red flag #3 When I pressed for pricing detail, I was sent another link. This did include pricing detail showing the options installed. There were no dealer installed options so I commented that it would be a quick process to get the car to me. He responded that there are dealer options not shown, including some tint package over $1200. Red flag #4 When I stated I did not want the dealer installed options, he said he would "ask". Like I have any trust at this point. This is where I stopped with this dealer. Others commented on a market adjustment thrown in at the last minute. I did not get that far but wouldn't be surprised if it was heading there had I kept going. I have worked with other dealers on this same make/model/trim. Most include the pricing detail of ALL options on the website, some even showing their market adjustments if they have them. That is how car dealers have transparency. More
Great dealership in Arlington Texas, by the mall. They had a lot of inventory that other dealers didn't have so I drove a little over an hour to get to this dealership passing 3 other Toyota dealers They had a lot of inventory that other dealers didn't have so I drove a little over an hour to get to this dealership passing 3 other Toyota dealerships. The sales experience started great and then got slightly rocking with the salesman but the sales manager Dalton Wilson stepped in and cleaned up the situation. Overall the experience was 8/10, I would say 10/10 but the salesman previously helping me was a lot to deal with. I got help from Carson who was super nice and professional (Which you should be at a dealership selling $50K cars, just saying) Eli in finance was also very professional and tried to get me in and out fast. I had already been there for about two hours so I needed to go. Overall I recommend this dealership as long as you deal with the mentioned people in this review. More

We purchased a 2024 Tundra Hybrid at Vandergriff and had a fantastic salesperson (Bianca Vigue). She was the best salesperson we have ever delt with! She had all the answers and did not pressure us in any a fantastic salesperson (Bianca Vigue). She was the best salesperson we have ever delt with! Worst management and very unprofessional sales manager named Pat. They bait on their customers and blame the lower level staff for it. I had clearly told her three times about the price and she said she confirmed it with her senior in this case Pat before I made one way 75miles trip. He even called me before I headed out there to make sure I was on my way. It’s your car, your price and your rules. It’s fair dealership has to make money and has final say on the sales. Please don’t call your customers and tell them something else once they arrive.Had they told me they needed a written proof of the price from elsewhere which I didn’t other than the text I wouldn’t have made that trip. I sent the text before I made the trip and even told Bianca to confirm which she said she did but Mr pat upon arrival said Bianca didn’t do what she was told. 2 things I didn’t understand is when I told what I was offered from the other dealership then you already knew the number, you could have just said no we can’t match it like two other dealrships did. Why did you realize that the numbers were unbeatable after I arrived and second was why couldn’t you clearly tell me while I was on the phone prior to my arrival that I needed written proof if you really wanted to blame Bianca for it?? This dealership needs to understand that our time is also precious and please don’t waste no one’s time. People please be aware of this dealership. From my today’s (5/1/24) experience I felt like they just somehow want to bring people in make several rounds of unnecessary back and forth bargain to frustrate the customer so they agree in the dealerships favor. I m writing this review to alert future customers to clearly communicate before arriving to any dealership because all they will say is oh I’m sorry but we are the ones wasting our time. More
I got a text/email from this dealership that they just got in a 3.0 Premium white with brown interior with some extra options. Sticker on the car was 62k online. I get my car title and go to the bank for a check for a big down payment. I arrive at the dealership and they had added a new sticker! Had a few of the options already listed on the other one but they also added a 10k "Market Adjustment fee". Oh as I was leaving they let me know they have a black/black supra arriving in 2 weeks if I wanted that one instead. They said I could put a deposit down I could reserve it for myself. Kicker was they would still add the 10k fee on top of it. I refuse to do business that way so I left empty handed. This dealership will NOT sell you a Supra at MSRP. AVOID THEM, there are other dealerships in the area that wont add a ridiculous markup. More
