I bought a 2012 Sonata Hybrid from Richard Harvey. The whole experience from start to finish was a very pleasurable. Richard was on the ball even before I got to the dealership. I called them on Thursday to make sure they had the sedan I wanted available. They said that they had 3 or 4 of them so I decided to come in on Saturday morning. The person I talked to was Philip Bergeron but he was busy with another customer which was fine. I was greeted by Maletta Larry who asked what I was looking for and I told her the specific vehicle I was looking at and wanted to test drive it. She said great what color am I looking for and I subsequently told her silver or black. She comes back 5 minutes later saying she had a great V6 I could drive. I was very clear that I did not want to drive the V6 I wanted to test drive the R Spec as it was already told to me that they had several. She said that was untrue. She kept pressing me to try to the V6 and when I told her again I did not want to do that, she told me to stop getting argumentative. This is when I mentally checked out and started asking about the price that they posted online. She told me that was with a lot of assumptions. I asked her to show me the assumptions online and she could not. She simply showed me a recklessly done excel rebate sheet. This was an awful experience and I almost gave up car buying until I contacted Van Hyundai who treated me extremely well and I ended up walking away with a GREAT (thank you consumer reports and truecar.com) deal on an R Spec. I worked with Alex Reese there and he was excellent. As for Vandergriff Hyundai and Maletta Larry I would not recommend them to anyone and I plan to file with the BBB due to bait and switch tactics. More

I found Bryce to be very knowledgeable about cars in general and the car I was interested in (an Accent base) in particular. The negotiating process was better than I was expecting since it had been 15 years since I bought a car, and was completed in less time than I was expecting. Chris handled the paperwork quickly and was also very knowledgeable, and he also put my mind at ease over a little snafu on my part a couple of days later. I would recommend that after a sale, people be told to keep the plastic tags on the keyless remotes since they contain the key codes to replace a lost key. I had no idea that's what it was and trashed them. Good thing there is a backup system for key codes. Overall, buying my Accent was a pleasant experience and I love the car. I would shop again at Vandergriff's and I hope my service experiences on my new car will be as good. S.Murphy More

Sam Hamdan gave me the sales pitch but he was not aggressive and thus, I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited, however it made for a long day due to the finance person. I came with check in hand but the finance person tried to get a different two different companies to compete for a lower interest rate, which caused my credit score to received two additional hits and they would not finance me because I still owed for 1 car. I'd just paid off a car and gotten approved by a bank. This part was very frustrating. I was told that I would goto finance soon but I saw others go before me. Finally, someone named William worked it out so I could drive the car away. Sam was the true reason that I did not go else where. A co-worker had just been there and walked away because of the finance guy. Went the next day to another dealer ship and was awarded for their good credit and given a lower finance rate offer. Yes I recommend the dealer because of my experience with the sales group but if you have check in hand and or a good credit score but the finance guy that I had gives you a hard time, then you decide if the hassle is worth it. More

Vandergriff had exactly what I was looking for and when we got there, it even had a spoiler added which was not included in the deal and they did make me a deal on it I couldn't refuse. I've had the SE now for just short of one year and I told Lee today(11/17/2011) that is is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned! I have reccommened a good friend of mine who is going out this weekend looking for a new vehicles to make sure he sees Lee at Vandergriff BEFORE they decide on whatever they purchase! I'm sure once they talk with Lee and she shows them the new 2012 SE, they will purchase it! I would reccommend this dealer to anyone because of the people there and their awesome service! More
