Almost had my business, But. I wish I could give this dealership 5 stars I really do. An awful experience with Mr. William Houston. My sales rep Tim was amazing, he was friendly, outgoing and just a great person to work with. The problem came with price. I had gotten on truecar.com and found my car significantly cheaper than what Vandergriff told me they could do. I immediately called Tim and told him the price and asked him if they could match it. He asked me to bring the certificate in and that he could talk to his Director William Houston. I went in with the certificate in hand and presented it to Tim, he went to the back office and spoke with William about it. After a while he and William came out and William told me that they could not honor the certificate and that their price would be x amount. He proceeed to bash the other dealership and tell me that they were awful and that they would "add on to the price" that they are terrible to deal with, that they pride themselves on providing service and treat their customers like family." I told him that, I didn't believe that the other dealership could do add -ons as they were recommended by my bank, to which his response is "well if you want to go and have that experience you can. We know their tactics. In fact, we will let you walk out the door and have that experience." I was literally shocked by his words. I had been in Vandergirff 4 times that week and to be told he was going to let me walk, clearly you lost my business. So I left and I went to Jerry's Hyundai in Weatherford and tell you what the certificate I presented from TrueCar is what I got the car for. Vandergriff is 8 miles from my apartment and my parents had an amazing experience is the only reason why I went there, to be told that they would let me walk....not good. I ended up driving over 20 miles for my car but tell you what, I wasn't put down, I wasn't harassed or told to walk. Jason told me I will have you out in an hour and half and I was out in an hour and a half. Vandergriff you greatly disappointed me, its a shame that you treat your customers so poorly. More

Even though I paid cash for the car, I especially enjoyed working with Thomas. One recommendation; be sure your internet offers are available to your sales personnel. I found the car I was interested in listed on the internet by Vandergriff for several thousand less than the best price offerred by in-store salesman. Once I brought that to the attention of Richard, the price was lowered to match the internet price and I purchased the automobile. More

Maletta Larry was a fabulous sales person!! Hello, I was referred to your dealership by a friend who bought a car from you all. They told me to see Maletta. I found a Used Jeep a couple of Hello, I was referred to your dealership by a friend who bought a car from you all. They told me to see Maletta. I found a Used Jeep a couple of weeks ago on line and wanted to test drive it. I was considering new and used Jeeps. This venture was to find that perfect fun vehicle for me. My old car was almost paid off and I have a wonderful credit rating so I was ready to buy. However, I needed to do some research and tire kicking. I came by one day and test drove a 2 door and a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. I loved the 2 door. Maletta was very patient and very knowledgeable. She was professional and very easy to talk to about what I wanted. Well I left that day and went and drove new Jeeps. I decided not to buy and put that on the back burner for a few days. Then I decided a few days later to go back and see Maletta about the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. She was so easy to deal with. My experience with her is why I bought this vehicle from Vandergriff. Otherwise I would have continued to shop because I will only spend that kind of money if I am confortable with the deal I am getting. Maletta gave me the internet price on the purchase. I did have a little issue with the folks in the finance department, but that has been taken care of. I just wanted to take a minute to be sure that you all know that I can buy a car anywhere, but I choose to do so because Maletta Larry did a fabulous job. I am not the type of person who will buy just any car, I want the one I want and the Hyundai Equus was on my list to be next. I had three different cars on my list. One in Florida, California , and this one at Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington Texas. I choose them because they responded to me very fast, which made my experience a lot less stressful. The car in California had lower miles but because of the help of Mr. William Houston, Maletta Larry, Bernardo Aguayo in Finance, and Bill Gilmore at Vandergriff, I felt more comfortable and less of a burden. The process was great, especially from me being out of town in EL Paso Texas. I was very pleased with the customer service from Vandergriff Hyundai and the way they made me feel like a friend rather than a customer. I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends who are now envious of my beautiful Hyundai Equus. Thanks again. More

Difficult experience Within one week I had 3 cars pulled out from under me. I was promised one, but then got a call later it had already been sold. Two other cars were promised me and when I came the price was raised by $1,000 and $4,000. I was very angry and called to complain, I never got a response. After calling back multiple times they finally did damage control. They worked hard to make me happy and though I had promised never to talk to them again, they did put together an attractive enough package to actually make me buy a car from them. So I have mixed feelings. I would rather have avoided the drama and stress, but I did get a car I wanted. My conclusion is that if you must work with them, avoid Jon Clayton. Maletta Larry, on the other hand, has gone above and beyond to give me a positive experience and she was always honest with me, unlike others. More

I have bought many new vehicles over the years, but I have to say that working with this Salesperson(Richard Harvey) both times and his managers was the BEST experience I have ever had. They worked with me until we could come to a price that I could afford. And being retired on Social Security does have its limits. This salesperson and dealership is HIGHLY recommend. More

I have had a company car for a few years so I have not been in the market for a new car on some time. I did some research on brands and cars I was interested in. Other brands were ok and eventually I came in to drive a specific car here but did not like it after driving. Richard showed me 2 other cars I liked better. He took the time to help me figure out what would really make me happy over the long term. Then he and the entire finance team worked to get me the number I needed to feel comfortable. And the tech guy was great too. Everyone took extra time to help me and make the entire experience positive and actually fun! And it was a holiday where I know they wanted to get home early so I really appreciate everyone. More
