I spoke with Andy over the phone before coming to the dealership. He gave me a feeling of reassurance that they could work with me despite some of the issues I had. He seemed to have a real sense of confidence about himself and was very willing to help me achieve my goal. I had actually gone to the wrong dealership but found the vehicle I wanted there anyway. I wanted to give Andy the opportunity for the sale since I had spoken with him first. Everyone at the Chevrolet store was very helful with getting me in touch with Andy and did not seem to begrudge a fellow salesman his opportunity. Andy came from the Arlington store to meet me and get the process rolling. He was very receptive to the issues I had with the vehicle and reassured me that the dealer would do everything possible to help take care of my concerns. The actual process was very smooth and Andy was very personable and out going in his efforts to make me feel comfortable and happy with my purchase. I believe Andy is a great asset to your sales staff and I would definitely recommend him and the dealership as a whole to anyone. More

I was not happy that the manager would offer me such a low price on my trade-in after advertising that they wanted trades. I know what my vehicle was worth and was in great shape. When I decided that I would not accept their offer and I made an attempt to walk out, then Brian Smith said "Oh that was just the beginning". After asking me what I wanted for my trade, they did finally come close to my asking price. They could have done that in the first place instead of wasting my time. Behind that I felt that they were assuming they were dealing with a fool, which is very common of companies taking advantage of women, and I did not appreciate that at all. That was an example of what all of the dealerships do making VanDevere no different from all the rest. I felt they were hiding something. If I had not had a male friend accompany me, I strongly felt that VanDeVere would have tried to take advantage of me (just like all the rest). My male friend did a lot of talking in my behalf (thank God for that). Just like all the other dealerships, they would have tried to "pull wool over my eyes". Even after I purchased the vehicle I still found some flaws that I am sure VanDevere were aware of. All they wanted was to make a sale (just like all the rest). In my opinion, if they wanted me to come back in the future to purchase another vehicle or refer someone they can at least be up-front with customers. That is where Good Customer Service comes in to play. I work in customer service (currently work in Government serving our Veterans, and have worked in a hospital serving the sick for over 30 years). I am waiting for parts on my vehicle that VanDevere and I agreed upon when I signed the purchase agreement. I would be very very surprised if I ever get those parts. Of course, as expected, I noted after the sale of the vehicle that there was no rear headrest and a couple other things. Brian said the headrest was not sent with the vehicle. It would not have costed VanDevere very much at all to order me something minute as a headrest. That one thing would have proven to me that you were providing good customer service taking the extra step towards good customer relations. Yep just like all the rest. Next time I will try another Dealership for my next purchase. More

I recenlty purchased my vehicle from Vandevere and I dealt with John E. and Nelson T. they were extremly helpful and polite. The professionlism was great and I never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision, the process went smooth and they kept me updated on the paperwork and explained eveything to me in great detail about prices, warranties, & what Vandevere had to offer. I have told my friends & family of the great customer service I experienced and will DEFINITELY go back to Vandevere for my future vehicles. My husband is looking forward to trading in his truck this summer and purchasing a truck from here, and I hope we get to work with John & Nelson once again!!:) Overall experience was GREAT!!! In the past 25 years, I have purchased 8 vehicles from dealerships and have been to many other dealerships. Never have I been treated so poorly, rudely, disrespected and out right lied to at a dealership dealerships and have been to many other dealerships. I had the worst experience of my life at an attempt to purchase a vehicle at VanDevere. After 4 days and 3 trips to the dealership, we had an agreed upon price for the car and I agreed to purchase it and they sold it 5 minutes before my appointment to purchase it. They didn't even apologize or even show the slightest bit that they even cared. They didn't even offer to try and find another car that I might like. Instead, they just let me walk away upset, disappointed and to another dealership. Also, if a consumer doesn't know car values or do their homework, they will take advantage of you. I was given a price at one VanDevere location and a salesman at another VanDevere location tried to sell me the exact same car for $2195.00 more. That is 40% more for the same car. More

My wife & I traded in her mini-van for a 2007 Ford Fusion. We did not have a specific vehicle in mind when we got there but Bill was patient and showed us a number of vehicles that would fit into the Fusion. Bill was very courteous and mindful of our time. When we were done I mentioned that I would be willing to trade my vehicle in for something newer if the deal was right. Bill worked on it and got back to me in a couple weeks with a vehicle that fit what I was looking for. With Bill's help I was able to upgrade my car without increasing my payments.
