In early 2020, I contacted RWARMF in hopes of trading out of my 2018 Dodge Durango that had $8k of negative equity buried into it and into an Alfa Romeo Giulia. I was pleasantly spoken to by Alondra, the BDC representative, and Swan. They told me what they could do to eat up the negative equity and get me into a Giulia of my choice. At the time, it didn't make sense as the pandemic just started so I decided to ride out the Durango. August 2020 comes and I get an amazing offer to buy my car out of its lease by an online car dealership so I took it. I had finally become a free agent, so I decided to take a break. In March of 2021, I reached out to Swan again to see what lease prices were since I was getting anxious about getting a new car. Still didn't work out for me. So I waited. Let me remind you, each time I spoke to Swan, he always gave me a quote and it was a very aggressive discount. I never got any "we don't quote over email" "you need to come in to get a price" nonsense that other stores will give you. I enjoy that type of transparency. 2021 passes and here we are in 2022 and it is time to get a car. I immediately reach out to Swan after exploring their website and finding 2 cars that matched what I was interested in. He immediately reached out to me and gave me a very strong price. I was intrigue, but not sold, but he followed up 2 days later with an even stronger deal that his manager Sami. So whenever you read this review, remember 2020 - 2022 there have been chip shortages and dealers are getting greedy and holding gross. Most stores are pre-selling their cars before they even arrive to the store AT MSRP and in some instances OVER MSRP. I would never do this as this is the perfect way to be UPSIDE DOWN in 2 years when things "normalize" and you decide to sell your car and since you took such a big loan, the value of your car will be less than the remaining amount on the loan. This was kind of a moot point for me since I was leasing, but I digress. Once I received the stronger deal, I said it was a number that worked for me and I agreed to the car. Filling out the credit application was very easy. I provided Swan all the documentation he needed and made plans to get to his store at 6:30pm. Upon arriving at the store, Swan greeted me and showed me my soon-to-be car. What a beauty! He then sat me down with the finance manager, Evelyn, who took care of the paperwork. I decided to purchase the Wheel Tire Hazard Insurance since I am a firm believer in this form of insurance Swan then gave me a tutorial on the new Alfa technologies and away I went. I just want to thank Swan and his team in their transparency, honesty, aggressive realistic pricing, and making this an extremely seamless and awesome experience. My advice, be open and tell them what you want to pay. If it is possible, they will make it happen. Remember, dealers want to sell you cars, but they also need to feed their families. Thank you! More
