Let me begin this this review with a positive evaluation of your staff and service department. I am so glad Sara has been promoted to run the sales department. Jess was my sales person whom I would recommend, because she was easy going in sales tactic, which I appreciated. She called me several times to see how she could help me choose a car from your company and was very thorough and took time explaining how to use many new items in the car. Now comes the reason for.2 stars. I needed a car for a family member who was flying in to purchase my 2019 CRV-EX . Jess, and every dealer, including yours, told me the Red CRV-EX wouldn’t be available for 3 weeks or more. A week later I get a call from a man telling me that if I give your company a check for $500.00 he will contact the dealer that told him he had one available, but I needed to come down immediately because the company was holding the car for him. (I came down in my gardening clothes) (A man, who called, sits in the circular area of your showroom.) told me that if I could come down immediately and write a check for $500 there is a red car another dealer is holding for him and if I hurry there….( I even came in my gardening clothes) When I left I felt that I was going to get a red CRV-EX within a few days instead of 3 or more weeks. When I arrived home….15 minutes later he calls and said the dealer, who was holding the car, sold it. I thought when a dealer has a commitment from another dealer that is binding, until a sale is either made or declined. Isn’t there a time communication with dealers? I have owned 5 Hondas, of which I have purchased 4 from Hobbs. Never was there a “Bait and Switch” tactic used on me as this man did. I purchased the color that was second choice, but when I am thinking of buying a car from your company, I will remember the “Bait and Switch” tactic. More
