I told Carl I would be there around one so I could take the car for a test drive. Which was really cool of him because all the cars on lot were covered in ice and he had it inside. During my purchasing experience at Van Horn Chevrolet I was extremely pleased, for the most part! I found the car I was interested in online and the following day I went in to test drive it. I worked with Jason Hendrikse and he was very helpful. He answered all of the questions I was concerned about. He allowed me to take the car to my mechanic, who I know and trust. I returned the following evening with my dad to purchase the car. Jason was extremely friendly the entire time. My dad asked if there was any type of warranty if my car would "blow up" on the way home. He was obviously exaggerating. Jason assured us that we would not have to worry. He said "We have been in business for 50 years and even tho there is no written warranty we stand behind our costumers!" He also dropped the price of the car an additional $1,000. I was more than pleased when I left the dealership. To say the least, I couldn't be happier. Although on my way home this changed. On my way home my windshield cracked, about 12 inches. It was not hit by a stone, I did not go over a bump, it simply cracked. I live very close to the dealership, and since it was late on a Friday night I called immediately and explained what had happened to Jason. He said he would check with the mechanic in the morning and get back to me. I never heard from him. My dad called him the following week and got the same response from Jason. We never heard back from him. If there was nothing they could do for me that would have been fine but it would have been nice to have gotten a phone call. Other than this one issue I was very happy with my experience at Van Horn Chevrolet. More
