We were very happy with the service we recieved. The one thing that kinda bothered me was that the vehicle we bought was not real clean on the inside. The car we traded in was much cleaner. After searching many "budget" car lots (due to bad credit), I received a phone call from David Marthenze with Vanhorn Chevrolet. In the call David stated I had been approved for a used car, year 2 bad credit), I received a phone call from David Marthenze with Vanhorn Chevrolet. In the call David stated I had been approved for a used car, year 2004 or newer with 80,000 miles or less, with a maximum purchase price of $13,100. David continued to explain interest rates, and down payment & trade in options. Then David shocked me by stating that I would be picking my car from two REGULAR CAR LOTS, or their budget lot if I wished. I immediately felt that David's offer was too good to be true, due to not qualifying to shop at a regular dealership for approximately 11 years. Having serious doubts, I decided to travel to Plymouth, WI (from greenbay). Upon arrival at Vanhorn Chevrolet I was greeted & then introduced to David Marthenze. David sat down with me and explained how their program works, then began to show me some vehicles I was qualified for. The vehicles were all 2006 through 2008, with mileage of 76,110 or less. At this point I was at height of disbelief, feeling very strongly that something was up & that this was way too good to be true. I took the vehicles for a test drive and decided on a 2006 Dodge Charger. The sale price of the car exceeded my approved loan amount by about $900. David stated that the $900 difference wouldn't be a problem and submitted the necessary info into the financial world for bank approval. Only 15 to 20 minutes I had a few loan approvals and I went into a state of shock. I couldn'tc believe that David, through Vanhorn Chevrolet, made buying this great car possible. A short time later (after the paperwork was completed), I drove home in a car far, far beyond what I ever thought was possible. My experience with David @ Vanhorn Chevrolet greatly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely go back to David Marthenze@ Vanhorn Chevrolet for my next vehicle purchase, and will recommend them to all friends and family. Thank you for making what seemed to be impossible, a reality. More

Very helpful, did what they needed to do to make the deal. Everyone was very straight to the point. Overall great experience - hassle free - we told them what we'd like our monthly payment to be and they found us a vehicle at another one of their dealerships that would fit our budget (they didnt have o what we'd like our monthly payment to be and they found us a vehicle at another one of their dealerships that would fit our budget (they didnt have one on site). They even went to get the vehicle and brought it back for us to test drive right away so we didn't have to come back. The sales staff really went above and beyond to help us purchase a pre-owned Equinox which are currently very hard to find in WI. They even helped watch our toddler while we signed the paperwork! We would definitely recommend this dealer. More

I traveled nearly 2 hours for my new truck purchase and I wasn't disappointed. Not only was Van Horn's price better than anything closer to my house, but they took two trade-ins...one without even seeing it wasn't disappointed. My internet questions were answered as fast as any business I have ever dealt with, and if one person wasn't available to respond, someone else did. The most awesome part of all? When I went back with my second vehicle two days after my purchase, sales manager Fred not only had a few items they found on the visor of my first trade, but also $260 that they found under the seat! I had hidden the money under there on a recent vacation and had totally forgotten about it. Honesty like this is all too rare these days, and I for one am very appreciative of the kind of folks that are employed by Joe Van Horn Chevrolet! More
