Excellent first car buying experience for our daughter My husband and I have bought many cars over the the last 30 years but since meeting Joe Barcelona of Valley Honda, we never go anywhere else. In fact, we just bought our 3rd vehicle from Joe Barcelona at Valley Honda in Aurora, Il. yesterday, September , 2015. Joe is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and a keen listener. We have never felt pressured to purchase a car. He provides just the right amount of information and support to help us make our decisions. With the recent realization that our daughter’s car needed replacing, we made an appointment with Joe knowing he would be just the person to ease her through her first car purchase as she expressed some real nervousness about the experience. The whole process could not have been any easier. While we were present to support our daughter, Joe really directed each step of the process toward her. He spoke to her as the intelligent, young woman she is, explaining the first car purchase process in a way that made sense to her. He struck just the right balance of attentiveness to her needs and questions without pressuring her. He explained all the components of the new car, helped her set up her blue tooth and walked her through the service department. While Joe is the main reason we continue to return to Valley Honda, the maintenance department is phenomenal as well. They provide great customer service and are equally friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and honest. The efficiency and speed of service is unparalleled. Further, they always explain what needs to be done in a way that is understandable to a layperson. Finally, the finance department person (I believe her first name is Stephanie) demonstrated exemplary customer service in yesterday’s transaction. She was very professional, efficient and friendly. She took the time to answer all of my daughter's questions pan dexplain all options and warranties available. This was especially important since our daughter had never gone through this process before. I highly recommend Joe Barcelona and the Aurora, Illinois Valley Honda dealership. We have referred many individuals to Valley Honda in Aurora, Illinois, specifically Joe Barcelona, a true asset to Valley Honda and a genuinely nice man. More
Fixed Door Rattle in New Accord Had an annoying door rattle in my new Accord driver door. Tried to figure it out myself, but just couldn't. Took it in to the service department and w Had an annoying door rattle in my new Accord driver door. Tried to figure it out myself, but just couldn't. Took it in to the service department and was helped by Chad. He had Luis drive around with me so that he could hear the rattle. Luis heard it and said he had some ideas about what it could be. Chad said he would call me when it was fixed. After a short while they narrowed down where the rattle was coming from and fixed it. I am so thankful and happy. I love my Accord and am so glad to be free of that annoying rattle. My experience with the service department could not have gone better. More

5/18/15 experience I came to the dealer with the intention of getting my rear brake pads replaced for the previously quoted $290. One hour after I arrived, I was told th I came to the dealer with the intention of getting my rear brake pads replaced for the previously quoted $290. One hour after I arrived, I was told they will not replace the break pads without also replacing the rotors which brought the bill to $590. It was ridiculously overpriced. My local mechanic completed the same exact job for $100 flat. They were also able to re-use the old rotors. The employee also tried to push me to add close to $700 in additional repairs .Needless to say, I will not be returning to Honda Valley for any routine car maintenance. More
Valley does business ethically and with integrity This past weekend was our 2nd experience purchasing a car from Valley Honda. We originally went in for an oil change and ended up trading. Everyone This past weekend was our 2nd experience purchasing a car from Valley Honda. We originally went in for an oil change and ended up trading. Everyone from the service team, sales team and finance was very helpful and willing to work with us. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. We purchased a used Honda from another dealer about a year and a half ago and the experience was nowhere near as pleasant as with Valley. We also had an oil change at a different dealer - they left the plug out and all of the oil leaked out. Valley got the car towed for us and did all of the repairs with no cost or hassle to us. They even gave us a car to use while they were making the needed repairs. Valley does business the right way - ethically and with integrity. For this reason, we will be returning for all future car needs, both for service and purchases. Thank you, Valley Honda (and especially Steve Grady and Sam King)!! More
Excellent service! (As per usual) I visited Valley Honda today for normal maintenance/service of my CRV. I was a little nervous going in on a Friday afternoon whereas time was concerne I visited Valley Honda today for normal maintenance/service of my CRV. I was a little nervous going in on a Friday afternoon whereas time was concerned. When I arrived, I was checked in immediately by John. John explained what service was due, provided the estimate of service and advised that they would be done between 45 minutes to an hour. 45 minutes later, my vehicle was done. Swipe my card, sign on the dotted line and the service and my visit at Valley Honda was complete. Or was it?? I exited the waiting area and walked back into the service area. A gentleman noticed that I was looking for my vehicle. He asked me what vehicle I had and pointed me in the direction of where it was. Not only did he point me in the direction, he walked me out to my vehicle, opened the door for me and bid me a good day. It is for this reason that I decided to write a review. Thanks Jose for great customer service! From your attire, I would guess that you are some part of the maintenance crew and I would guess you don't always get the chance to receive a review of your "service". Your polite demeanor and care for the customer did not go unnoticed! As always, I love my Valley Honda "Family". Be back soon ;) More

He totally went above and beyond for my last service visit and I am truly a loyal Valley Honda client because of it. I will not ask for anyone else after having dealt with him. He had a car dropped off for me and picked up mine and went over all the services that my car had not received when bringing it in one busy Saturday morning. Whatever was not done that morning Kevin took care of that second time around and I could not be more pleased and more happy with Valley Honda.
