After the test drive I was provided a tour of their services lines and facility which is pretty impressive and neat. The tour ends in a customer wait area with yes "Starbucks" coffee, Apple computers for the kids and even a little nursery for toddlers or infants with a video coverage so you can see them from the relaxing lounge. How cool is that! I recommend working with Jose and Mohit who helped me through the process and I am very happy with my Honda purchase. Valley Honda clearly takes their "service brand" very seriously from the friendly but unpressured welcome when you come through the door to the detailed facility tour to the comprehensive review of your new car and its features. Well done. Most importantly, though, was the skill and professionalism of our salesman, Joe Barsalona. My wife and I felt instantly at ease with Joe - he really never "tried" to sell us anything except himself and it's clear he's very proud of his employer. We never felt manipulated or pressured and never buried us with too many emails after we left to make our decision. When we returned a few weeks later, he remembered our names and remembered the details of our last visit. He really took interest in us and still never, ever pushed. I've purchased many cars in my life and consider myself a very strong negotiator. With Joe, I never used these skills - I trusted him and immediately felt his offer was the best available. No dickering - I bought the car. When we picked up the car, he made the entire delivery process as smooth and fast as possible - he painstakingly walked me through all of the features of my new CRV and there is no question that Joe will see me again. He kept us informed weekly as to the status of the building the new car. He called the day it arrived and explained exactly what we needed to do get it without having to come back twice. Everything worke perfectly and we arrived and picked up our new CRV just as ew expected to with no problems. Buying our CRV from Jim at Valley Honda was a enjoyable experience. We recently purchased our first Honda CR-V from Valley Honda in Aurora, IL. We worked with Gerry Pastore from beginning to end and he is just fabulous!!! From the time we first started talking about the car, October 2011, until ours came in, Gerry was on top of it and kept me informed throughout the next three and a half months. He is very knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells and also extremely professional, at all times. Gerry called me in early November to tell me that the color I wanted was no longer being manufactured. He explained the color options for the 2012's and what options I had for a CR-V; to buy a 2011 or wait for a 2012 in a different color. I wasn't sure if I wanted to wait for the new model or not, so with special permission, he arranged for me to see one of the first 2012s. After seeing it, I was sold on the new redesigned CR-V. Gerry was so patient with me .... responding to my countless emails and voicemail messages or phone calls during the next couple of months. I was unsure of what color I wanted, so as soon as Valley Honda received the colors I was considering, Gerry called so I come and look at them. Once I made up my mind, it took a few weeks before I took delivery of my new 2012 EX-L CR-V. Gerry kept me informed along the way of the projected production date, then when he received the VIN number, and when delivery to the dealer would be. He called me Monday morning to tell me all the additional options I had selected would be installed and ready for pick up by 1:00 p.m. We arrived around 4:00 pm and left the dealership about 7:00 pm with our new CR-V. Gerry went through every part of the vehicle, so I left truly knowing everything. Valley Honda is one of the nicest, cleanest dealerships I've ever been in. The owner really believes in customer service as evidenced by the additional seats in the customer waiting area, a water hydration station, and expansion of the service department. I would not hesitate to recommend Valley Honda to a friend or family member and would definitely recommend Gerry Pastore as your salesperson. Actually, we appreciate Gerry and his expertise so much, that this is the fourth Honda we have purchased from him. And providing he is there when we are looking for the fifth Honda, we will buy from.
