Valley Cadillac is very clear with customers about diagnostic charges. We were very clear with you. You signed and initialed your repair order for that charge. Your 2017 Chevrolet Impala was not sold to you as a certified pre-owned vehicle. Your extended warranty does not cover maintenance. It is really unfortunate that your rude/loud behavior resulted in the police needing to be called. This is a pattern for you and our employees do not deserve to be yelled at and threatened every time you come in. It is best that you take your vehicle elsewhere for repairs.

Valley Cadillac should’ve also felt it was best that I have not spent my hard earned money with them as well. Also you guys are very unprofessional and hire complete imbeciles that lie and steal from the very same people that supported your business. I will never bring MY 2017 impala to you guys again so don’t worry, but I also have proof that the vehicle was sold to me as a certified pre-owned car so maybe we can have a different conversation in court. Also if Maintenance for a car part isn’t covered under my extended warranty when the company the warranty is under says otherwise then why have your salesperson’s go the extra mile to purpose the offer during their sales pitch, knowing you guys will go the extent to work around it the best u can. You guys are pathetic and should do better, based off your reviews that should be your number one priority.

Robert, Yes, you had some issues that were clearly under warranty. You also had some issues that may not have been covered under warranty. Once we got into the issue, we would be able to determine if it was covered or not. We let you know that if an issue was not covered there could be a charge. We let people know that upfront so there are no surprises. You called Cadillac and they let you know the same thing; you might have to pay. I had the sales manager call you the next morning to see what we could do to help you. You had already called Cadillac and did not want to talk about it. $800.00 per hour! We do not charge $800.00 per hour.

Knowing that you are very meticulous she checked your car out before you got here and walked you outside when you picked up your car. Kurt, I apologize again. What happened was terrible. I wish that we had been able to do a better job. Unfortunately, I did not have a car nor the personnel to bring it down to Hornell on Saturday afternoon. Renting a car was the only option and any expense incurred would of course be reimbursed. Joe followed up and left a message with Nicole on Monday morning at 8:45 am. Shaq followed up with a text message at 9:37 am to see if Nicole had any questions. Nicole responded at 1:27 pm that we needed to deliver a car to her. I know that you talked with our service manager, Scott Colicchio, a little later that afternoon and Scott let you know that we had found the problem and that the car was fixed. I also apologize for my inappropriate remark that this was not my first xxxxxxx rodeo. As far as telling her to get an attorney, she had said in an earlier conversation that attorneys were going to be involved. I asked her if she had spoken to her attorney yet. I did not tell her to get an attorney. As for the car going up to 125 mph, it did not. Based on our experience this is what we believe happened. The CV shaft (front axle shaft) disconnected. With no resistance the transmission started spinning faster as the car was trying to keep at the set speed on cruise control. The wheel speed sensors saw the car slowing down. At that point the control module probably detected the discrepancy and engaged the antilock to slow the car down. What we found is that the CV shaft (front axle shaft) had not been pushed all the way in and the locking ring was not engaged. We reinstalled the shaft, pushing it all the way in and engaging the locking ring. We road tested the car. It is fixed and it is safe. Sincerely, Ed Meagher President Valley Cadillac
