This is a second review that I have written for Valley GMC. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Valley GMC for the following reasons: 1) While servicing my 2018 GMC Canyon for a bad light bulb, t GMC. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Valley GMC for the following reasons: 1) While servicing my 2018 GMC Canyon for a bad light bulb, the cover was not replaced correctly and the bulb shorted out when it rained. I had to return it for service and was expected to pay for the repair. 2) I made an appointment for the 2018 Canyon, dropped it off on time and never heard back from my service manager or anyone from the service department. I called and left two voicemails and finally on the third attempt someone answered the phone. At that point, I was told that the truck had not been worked on. When I inquired why, I was only then told that transmission issues take longer. No one had informed me about a transmission issue. I thought it was in for a cv boot/ axle repair. Because I needed the truck, I took it home without any repairs being done. left another message for the service person Stephen Swinford. He called. I called back and was told that they were extremely short handed and he dropped the ball on the phone call to tell what was going on with the truck. He then said, “ I sure wish we had the truck so we could work on it.” Really? You had my truck for 6 hours and did nothing with it. 3) I made another appointment and took the truck in at 7 am with an agreement that it may take two days so I would get a loaner car. Stephen called me to tell me that there was “more than likely” a transmission issue and he would need to keep the truck until the next day. Because I had the loaner car, that was not an issue. I got a call in the morning saying the truck was finished. I returned to the dealership, returned the loaner car to the service area and was told that my car was ready and I needed to go to the cashier. I never saw my service person Stephen. The cashier took my money, then told me I could pick my car up In the back lot. The back lot requires me to walk through the drop off area, past the service area and quite a ways to the back lot. Once I got there, all of the protective paper and plastic was still inside the car and the steering wheel was greasy and dirty. Honestly, I’ve never had this happen. Always, the car valet picked up my car and brought it to the waiting room parking area. I was frustrated again at the lack of professionalism, customer service and being told to “go get your car.” This dealership is 5 minutes from my house and I will not return. I am seriously frustrated with being taken care of so poorly and it really makes me question the decisions that were made for my truck. Sincerely, Kim Niederluecke More

No reservation. Monday morning Scott got my car diagnosed and repaired within hours. He kept in touch via the wonderful system they use.
