Great Service! I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle in January/February, my prior car wasn't dealing with central New York winters very well anymore and I wan I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle in January/February, my prior car wasn't dealing with central New York winters very well anymore and I wanted something a step up in terms of performance and overall quality. After some searching I found a Subaru Forester on VW Oneonta's website that fit what I was looking for; low mileage, well maintained, the specific package I wanted. Wasn't in love with the color, but after making the trip from Syracuse to check it out, I changed my mind. Practically brand new condition, perfectly detailed inside and out, almost looks like it just rolled out of the factory. The price was very reasonable, and they were able to get the financing in line with my budget. I also got a great offer for my trade in, and made the purchase on the spot. They took care of everything. Everybody there was friendly and helpful, I've also called with a few questions and they've all been answered quickly and professionally. Will definitely go back for my next vehicle. More

Substandard Service Three months ago this dealer was called Audi Volkswagen of Oneonta. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Audi from them. Less than a week later the car was listed on AutoTrader and Cars.com for a lower price than I paid. I sent an e-mail in which I enquired why the car was still listed, and moreover, for a lower price. I did not receive a repIy to my e-mal. A week later, I followed up with a phone call. None of the individuals with whom I requested to speak were in, and moreover, I learnt that the company was no longer an Audi dealer. Two days subsequent to my phone call, I sent a follow up e-mail. I received a reply from the Finance Manager directing me to an Audi 800 number. I called and spoke with him about my concerns. He responded that the dealership “does not conduct business with AutoTrader and cars.com. The listing was made in error by a third party.” He also stated “we had no idea that were we losing our Audi certification. We were all caught by surprise ...” I requested to be refunded the $2,000.00 that I paid for the certification, and he refused. At approximately two thousand miles after the purchase, the brakes failed. I spoke with the service manager about it. He said they were not responsible. “We made sure that the vehicle had enough brakes to meet certification. The wear is a result of your driving.” I followed up with the sales manager. He basically stated the same thing. It is difficult for me to believe that the brakes of a certified pre-owned vehicle cannot last to three thousand miles. I drove my other vehicle, an Acura MDX, for 65,000 mile before I changed the brakes. More

Buyer BEWARE!! Bought a used 2014 Tiguan in October. No tread on them- totally worn and this morning I found a plug in one of the tires. Guess who won't return my phone calls or emails. I'm not done with them yet but I am not holding my breath that they will make this right. I will update further. Just be careful if you have to buy from them. More
