Purchase a Honda CRV Touring I walked into the dealership and saw Jose Hernandez with a smile on his face. I told him that I wanted the CRV and he showed me several options. He w I walked into the dealership and saw Jose Hernandez with a smile on his face. I told him that I wanted the CRV and he showed me several options. He was very knowledgable about the different models and did not push me to any specific one. Once I decided I wanted the Touring, we went for a test drive and that was it. Jose gave me the specific details about many of the aspects of the car, as well as the highlights. In no time, I was signing my name on the dotted line because of Jose. Tonight I picked up my car and he took the time to show me more of the interior functions. All of the additons I wanted on the car were done and everything went smoothly. I cant stress enough about Jose's kindness, patience and knowledge of the car. Thank you Jose!!!! I will be telling everyone about my wonderful experience with VIP Honda and Jose. Due to NJ DMV limitations, the VIP Honda could not provide me with temporary license plates that last more than 20 days and for State of Virginia, where I live - this is not enough time to receive and process the registration and send the new plates. So, I have to ask Jose for more help and he reached KELLY KHATIB. I was impressed by her Exceptional Customer Service!!! Amazing !! Never thought after buying so many cars I would have such a great experience . Usually the sales person is a jerk or just hungry for your money . Jose seems compassionate and more interested in helping more than anything else . I picked my car ( which I love ) he test drove me showed me everything possible on the car , after that we sat down worked numbers he worked with my budget and I was approved and sent to Finance and maybe couple mins later was done signing paper work and I had my car ready to go . Like I said amazing experience and definitely coming back when my lease is over :) More

Used Jetta Several months ago, I purchased a pre-owned VW Jetta from VIP (used car section). Few weeks later I discovered there was a problem obtaining the title Several months ago, I purchased a pre-owned VW Jetta from VIP (used car section). Few weeks later I discovered there was a problem obtaining the title. When I discovered this, I contacted a lawyer, the DMV and my finance company, I tried to dig up as much info on VIP as possible because I was pissed. If you stop reading right here, you'll think this is a negative review but you would be so wrong. I went in to see the GM, Rich Jakubowski, guns at the ready. I was expecting all the worse, the things we come to anticipate when it comes to dealing with car salesmen (used cars especially). Jakubowski listened to me, recognized how very mad I was and offered me several solutions to the problem. I was still leery of what all he was telling me, since it wasn't going to be an easy or quick fix. Something about his demeanor made me trust him, if only guardedly, at first. I gave him time, As I said, it was not a quick fix. I had to park my car in the garage for nearly two months. Jakubowski gave me a loaner car (which was nicer than the car I bought) the entire time. The first couple of weeks I was a pain in the xxx, calling him sometimes two or three times a week. "Steve, I'm not going to call you unless I have something to tell you." True to his word, he updated me as to what was going on only when he had news, Friends kept telling me, "You want me to handle this?" " You should be doing..." "I would make them do..." I was so confident that Rich was working in my best interest that I kept telling them they have given me no reason to doubt them, they (VIP and specifically Rich) has given me no reason to question their ethics or their honesty. Things happen. Rich being so accommodating and understanding made this potentially negative experience a positive one. At one time, we could take people at their word because they would move heaven and earth to make sure their words were true. Our faith in people has waned because it is easier to lie and suffer the consequences. It is refreshing to know that there are people like Rich Jakubowski in this world. It would have been very easy to write a review if it was a perfect experience. It is a testament to Rich that anyone would take the time to write a glowing review even when things weren't perfect. Rich is a good man. I HIGHLY recommend VIP Honda in North Plainfield, NJ for any future auto purchases. More
