We took our minivan for an oil change and car wash to Uptown Ford. The service team left huge scratches (peeled off paint 4 inches long x 2 inches wide) on the bumper. When we demanded to get it repainte Uptown Ford. The service team left huge scratches (peeled off paint 4 inches long x 2 inches wide) on the bumper. When we demanded to get it repainted, they started being down right disrespectful. They kept claiming that the scratches were already there before we dropped off the car which is not true. I have been showing this car to potential buyers for the past week and never ever saw those scratches. These scratches would have formed only by driving up against something really hard. Our guess is the service rep took it out for ride (8 miles added to odometer, one does not have to drive the car that far for an oil change within the shop) and backed into something. Worst customer service ever. The floor manager (Bruce - dont know his last name) did not even try to resolve the issue and his 20 something assistant (Jessica - dont know her last name) was yelling at us. These rude people don't deserve to be in customer facing jobs. More
I have been getting my Ford vehicle serviced at Uptown Ford, Lincoln Mercury ever since the Ford Dealership where I purchased the vehicle from went out of business. Now I wouldn't go anywhere else! Uptown's service department sets a new standard for customer service. They are always friendly, courteous, and most importantly repair my vehicle correctly, on time for a reasonable fee. Fred always goes the "extra mile" for me and has my total trust to help me keep my Ford Explorer running and handling like new. More
Not many people look forward to taking their car in for service, but I am one who enjoys the journey!! The ENTIRE staff (and management) at Uptown is superior to any dealership I have ever used. They all act as though it is THEIR dealership and THEIR vehicle and the customer is a long lost friend--it's fun to come there and be greated with a smile and given the feeling that they have been waiting to see you and serve you (even at 730am). They listen, ask questions and make sure they understand what you are saying and then give you an estimate of cost and time when completed--can't ask for more than that--best of all they are ALWAYS right on in both areas. The tenure of the staff at Uptown speaks volumes for the dedication that management shows to them and it is reflected in the way they recognize and treat the customer. I called for an appointment and was able to schedule the same day for a convenient time. The service advisor greeted me immediately upon arriving, prepared a service order and showed me to the waiting room same day for a convenient time. She also suggested that if I wished there was coffee and popcorn in the next room. Service was completed within an hour as promised. The service advisor came to get me and took me to the cashier and explained the service performed and the price. Everyone was very courteous and with a smile. I would definitly go back for service and to purchase a new vehicle. I should mention that I am a long term satisfied customer. Uptown Motors is a class operation. More
Machelle ALWAYS explains my repairs in detail and let me know if they are "required" or can "wait". She is always willing to work around my schedule and my vehicle is always done when promised!! I have been having my vehicles serviced at Uptown since 1987. I had a Ford Escort back then. Then I purchased a 2001 Ford Escape. My daughter is still driving that vehicle which has never been serviced anywhere else. Because of the fine service I have received all these many years, I purchased a new Escape from Uptown in 2009. In all these years that I have had vehicles serviced with them, they fix it right the first time. That means plenty to me. And, they don't fix what "ain't broken". Their service is dependably consistent. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. They don't waste my time, they provide transportation if needed. Being a female, I don't want to feel intimidated when I need to take a vehicle in for service. I want to do business where honesty and integrity are important.
