They did the work in a timely and efficient and professional manner. They even brought my vehicle back home as I was just too full of work to take care of that detail. Thanks so much, Uptown for a professional manner. They even brought my vehicle back home as I was just too full of work to take care of that detail. Thanks so much, Uptown for a job well done! More

This really is not about the Service Center, but rather about the General Manager, Jeffrey Sardina. The Service Center always does a great job. I purchased my Lincoln MKX from Uptown in November 2015. I about the General Manager, Jeffrey Sardina. The Service Center always does a great job. I purchased my Lincoln MKX from Uptown in November 2015. I have been a loyal customer since then. If work was done on my car, Uptown did it. I purchased a 3-year battery from Uptown in November 2023. In January 2026, that battery died. Out of the blue. I had driven my car on Thursday, went to drive it on Saturday, and it was dead. (Car is garaged in an attached garage.) I checked Uptown's website, but they were already closed for the day. I needed my car on Monday, so my neighbor gave me a jump and I went to Valvoline to get a new battery. Valvoline tested the Ford battery, and said it was on its last leg. So I got a new battery from Valvoline. When I went to Uptown for my next oil change yesterday, I took the dead battery back with me. I explained the situation, and said that I would like a credit for the one year of battery life that I paid for, but did not get. Joe from the Service Department got Jeffrey, the GM, who said he could not do that. He wanted to know why I didn't call Uptown when my battery died. I told him because you were closed. And he said I should've called anyway, because they all have cell phones, and they have a "network," and somebody could've helped me. (I'm not sure how I was supposed to know that.) He wanted to know why I didn't call and let them know that the battery had died and I'd gotten it replaced. That this is the first he's knowing about it, three months later. I said, it didn't make a lot of sense to me to call and let you know that my battery had died and I got a new one. I had already handled the situation. What were you gonna do? Joe, from Service, had hooked my Ford battery up to a charger. He came and told us that the battery was in good shape, and that it was holding a charge. Jeff offered to have it reinstalled in my car for me. As the battery had a history of just dying out of the blue, I did not feel comfortable having that battery back in my car. Jeff maintained that Valvoline sold me a battery that I did not need, because there was nothing wrong with the Ford battery. The only solution Jeff offered me was they would give me a new battery, install it, and I could take the battery that I bought from Valvoline and return it to them. Why would Valvoline take it back? There was nothing wrong with their battery. That solution made no sense to me. But that is the only thing he offered. He just kept saying that I should've called the dealership when the battery died. Again, I saw no reason to do that, because the dealership was closed. I felt totally gaslit. And, for about $80, he pushed an 11-years-loyal customer out the door. More
