I asked for an internet price on a Jetta Sportswagon TDI which came back $3000 above MSRP! Amazing how stupid they must think we are. They then told me that this is because of a "market adjustment" because which came back $3000 above MSRP! Amazing how stupid they must think we are. They then told me that this is because of a "market adjustment" because they couldn't restock their inventory. What a lie. They just know that people in Seattle really want the Jetta Sportswagon TDI and so they are trying to fleece us for trying to be environmentally conscious. Please stay away from this dishonest dealership. More

Great dealership. Shopped at several VW dealerships in the area that came in at higher quotes, but Karl and his manager made me feel like I was not going to regret purchasing my new VW at University. I bought my Jetta TDI from University Volkswagen in 2004. Not only do I love the car, but it was the best sales experience I've ever had. My salesperson is no longer there, but he was great. Another salesperson put my rain guards on for me when they came into service without my even asking. My subsequent experiences with service department have been excellent, too. Even if I'm doing warranty work, I'm treated the same way. Everyone answers my questions and I've never felt cheated or resented (which I have felt at other dealerships and auto mechanics in the past). Everyone seems very professional. The one time they didn't catch a squeak (VWs squeak!), they were happy to fix it when I brought it in. Owning a VW is a joy and a pain, of course, so it's great to have a reliable and pleasant dealership to deal with. I will definitely be buying my next car from University VW and recommend them to everyone I know. More
