worse experience I ever had with a dealership. they sold me a truck that I was told by Dante that was going to be $15500 for the original price of $16479 after I gave them $3000 for a down payment thinking me a truck that I was told by Dante that was going to be $15500 for the original price of $16479 after I gave them $3000 for a down payment thinking that it would lower the amount I was financing. for one Riz, the one doing the paperwork, wrote the truck up for $16479 burying my $3000 in "fees". that took up $2000 plus the $1000 that I was ripped off in the selling price took up my $3000 down payment. I don't make a lot of money, to begin with, and it took me a great amount of time to save up the money that I had for the down payment and they ripped me off so cunningly because I had a brain injury in the past and he was forcing the paperwork at me so fast all I could do was sign where he told me to sign. To top it off the truck had bad brakes. I would roll through red lights and stop signs. When I took the truck back they told me that they would fix the problem. What they did was fix the back brakes but did not fix the front that I was later told by the mechanic were out of round and he thought they would let him fix them too. But no. When I brought it to the person that sold me the truck he referred me to Riz, who did the paperwork, who told me he couldn't do anything about that and sent me to the salesperson, Edwin, who called Chis, the manager that told this other manager that he could not fix the problem, "if we fixed all of the cars back to new we wouldn't make any money" What a cruel group of people working there from the salesmen to the managers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A BAD DEAL I RECEIVED BY A BUNCH OF CROOKED "PEOPLE", I USE THE TERM PEOPLE LOOSELY More
Buying a car is stressful. However, Eric made my purchase virtually stress-free. I was able to complete most of my application online, picked the car, walked in and signed the papers. They gave me a great de virtually stress-free. I was able to complete most of my application online, picked the car, walked in and signed the papers. They gave me a great deal on my trade and my brand new car. Anything I needed, everyone was quick to get. This was the most pleasant car purchase ever. I agree with the other review. It's difficult as a woman to make a car purchase, I've been to 3 other dealerships and walked out after hours of badgering. Eric treated me like a buyer and friend, verses pulling smooth salesman talk on me like the other guys around town. If you're looking for a great experience, please go to University Ford in Chapel Hill! If the don't have what you want on the lot, they'll go find it for you. A + team!! More
As a woman it can be intimidating to go to a car dealership; Not at University Ford in Chapel Hill! Matt was friendly and knowledgable. He showed me a few cars that I was interested in and helped dealership; Not at University Ford in Chapel Hill! Matt was friendly and knowledgable. He showed me a few cars that I was interested in and helped me to pick the one that best fit my needs, not the one that was the most expensive. He did not automatically direct me to the "mommy" vehicles as many other dealers had at other places. His all around customer service made me feel comfortable and at ease in what is usually a stressful situation. Thank you for your time and patience! More
