Universal Imports of Rochester I can't say enough about Erin and Universal Imports! This was by far the easiest and best buying experience I've ever had. And without surprise my Audi Q5 being delivered and in my driveway in less than 4 hours after starting the buying process. “Auto Repair Nightmare”I entrusted my classic 1973 “Auto Repair Nightmare” I entrusted my classic 1973 Mercedes to this shop for a full and complete tune-up of the V-8 gas engine. After the tune-up “Auto Repair Nightmare” I entrusted my classic 1973 Mercedes to this shop for a full and complete tune-up of the V-8 gas engine. After the tune-up was done and I retrieved my car, I drove to Alexandria Bay. The entire trip my car ran worse than before the tune-up allegedly performed by Universal Imports. I took my classic 1973 Mercedes to another repair shop and the following was discovered: ●the top of the engine was covered with premium gasoline due to the fact that Universal Imports installed four (4) ss circular gas line clamps that were too large in diameter and only minimally tightened, thereby allowing the gas to leak and spray all over the engine ●an ignition wire running from the distributor was not connected and two (2) other wires were connected to the wrong spark plug ●the fuel sensor had been broken off and not replaced ●the full and complete tune-up did not include an evaluation of the 8 fuel injectors. This powerful automobile could not have been road tested by a knowledgeable individual when it had such a loss of power. When I brought these failures to the attention of the Service Manager, Mark, he questioned my veracity and dismissed the matter without any offer to correct their miserably, poor and expensive work, or lack thereof. I would never recommend Universal Imports for any kind of service or service needs. More
