My experience purchasing my new 2013 hyundai sonata gsl was a great one to say the least. When I came in I was greeted with a smile from the young lady at from with glasses to then being assisted by whom b was a great one to say the least. He was extremely friendly and addressed all my needs and wants out of the car I was considering purchasing. This is not my first time buying a new car and like everyone else out there feels, once it was time to talk numbers you get the "here we go" feeling. This experience was the complete opposite. I was offered a very good price for my trade in, and they helped me out with the price of the new car so I was able to afford it without being in over my head. Completing the paperwork was also very quick and easy thanks to the financial manager Felix Matos. I was able to leave that day with the car I wanted and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Everyone at this dealership was extremely friendly, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who's looking to purchase a new car (especially if it's a hyundai) Two thumbs way up for My Salesman Angel Soto and The universal hyundai team for getting me into the car I wanted with no hassles. Last time I picked up a Santa Fe for my wife, and this time I upgraded my Ela Hyundai, and once again I couldn't be happier with my family's new car. Last time I picked up a Santa Fe for my wife, and this time I upgraded my Elantra to a Sonata. Teodoro was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to take my car home without a single unanswered question. My trade-in value was very fair and they can work some financing magic to make the car you want the car you'll get. There selection is incredible too, they had the color and features I wanted on the lot. Getting the right sales person is key, ask for Teodoro. More
Let me start by saying that I have personally bought 3 cars from Kevin McGill and I have sent him over 10 people that have bought as well...all of which are extremely pleased with their experience. I wouldn't trust anyone else other than Kevin for my car buying. He is very honest and won't talk over your head. Whatever the poster before me didn't like about Kevin or the dealership, I can probably guarantee that it was the customers fault and/or misunderstanding. I work for Disney and am in the customer service department for Disney's reservation center. One thing I know, is when people are sincere...Kevin is a sincere person that is always looking out for Universal's customers. I can't say enough good things about him or the dealership. If Kevin was to ever leave, my wife and I would purchase wherever he goes. More
This has been by far the WORST experience I have ever had with any dealership I have come in contact with! Not only did I have a terrible experience with their service department MULTIPLE times, the custome with any dealership I have come in contact with! Not only did I have a terrible experience with their service department MULTIPLE times, the customer service I received this time around was UNHEARD of! After leasing my new car, there was a mess up with my old car payments that they did not inform me of payment information that needed to be fixed. I then received a survey from them in regards to my recent lease and I gave my honest opinion about everything and gave the scores they deserved. I gave 10's where 10's were deserved and all the other scores reflected exactly how things were. Well after submitting my survey, I received a phone call from Kevin McGill YELLING at me for the survey and scores I gave them! To receive a phone call from a manager yelling at me for honest opinions and feedback is just UNHEARD OF!!!! Horrible experience there and don't suggest ever going to do business there!! More
This was the best car buying experience I've ever had! Howard T, my sales rep was very polite, friendly & not at all "pushy" salesman. He was very patient, knowledgable & answered all my questions. We have had a TERRIBLE time at Universal Hyundai. Richard Harris was the sales person that we dealt with, we also had to get the Internet Sales Manager in on our deal because I don't think Richard co Richard Harris was the sales person that we dealt with, we also had to get the Internet Sales Manager in on our deal because I don't think Richard could handle all of the backwards and sideways talk that occurred during negotiations. I understand the waiting game at dealerships. I can only take so much. We live 45 minutes away and had to go there 3 times to get the deal completed. Guillermo was the finance person that closed the deal, we had to wait for over an hour to get in to see him. He told me before we signed the paperwork that we could call Hyundai Finance after everything had been completed and change the due date to something that was more convenient for us. Come to find out that he flat out lied to us and then refused to return our phone calls. So much for convenience!!! We were also told that we get a "few" oil changes on the house and that all we had to do was tell the service person. Well I guess they took me for my word the first time but the second time I went in they said that there was "nothing in the system" and that I would have to wait until 9AM (It's 7 at this time) or I can pay for it and have Richard reimburse me (I guess it comes out of his commission). That would be a cold day in H*** before I would hold my breath and wait for a refund from a car dealership!! Needless to say there were foul words exchanged. I don't know the name of the little twerp that is in the service department but they are all a bit "high nosed". I will NEVER return there until it is time to return my keys and tell them to get happy. More
