It was high pressure and they purposely avoided a few important points about the car in order to get it out the door. So if a new car dealer has issues what should my expectation be of an auto reseller? I had been looking for an Audi Rs7 for over a year and one of the main reasons I hadn’t pulled the trigger was the thought of going through the buying experience. About a month ago I found a car with the options I liked and called Ultimo. I reached Larry and asked a few questions about the car I was looking at, he was gracious and took the time to get me what I needed. Really the deal took a full month to process as I travel a fair amount. Each time we spoke Larry was more than helpful and offered up information with zero pressure. In that month Larry built trust with me and in the end we cut a deal. I had the car trucked from Chicago to Seattle, Larry set it up for me (an expectation) and proceeded to track the car for me, when I couldn’t reach the company after the transport truck had to stop for a flat tire he was all over it and fed me information along the way. Car arrived and the driver mentioned during the unloading process how Ultimo had a lot of really nice cars but what struck him as different was that all the folks he interracted with were polite and kind. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I felt it worthy to blow a little sunshine Larry’s way, thanks man you restored my faith in the car purchasing experience. I had done my research on the Porsche Panamera and spent quite some time looking at cars. I found a low mileage and reasonably priced Panamera at Ultimo Motors, and reached Larry to discuss the car and possible purchase. Everything went very smoothly and the car was delivered to my driveway two days later, as described. The process was very easy and Larry was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. I would recommend both Larry and Ultimo Motors to anyone in need of a reliable automobile. More

My salesman Larry LaCoste is a former 1960’s Chicago rock n’ roll legend (and still looks it) and there’s nothing better than shopping for a cool car and talking rock n’ roll. That was Larry, but I also got to meet the rest of the staff and every one of them looks to have their own interesting spin to keep the cool car buying experience energized and interesting. Today I walked out of Ultimo a cool car buyer being extremely satisified with Larry’s friendliness, knowledge and most importantly, price! I’m happy Ultimo opened in Northbrook near my home. When I went there I was a little intimidated by all the other great cars they had on the showroom floor. Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and so on. I didn’t expect the same attention looking at a pickup. I was wrong! Larry LaCoste was my salesman and he was great. Professional, polite, great to talk to. He answered my questions or if he didn’t know (he knew luxury sports cars more than pickups) he found out quickly and got back to me ASAP. Same with the vehicle’s service records or other questions. Coincidentally Larry had been a salesman at my Audi dealer years earlier. He knows that market. The sales manager, the finance manager and Larry LaCoste, all were a pleasure to work with. They’ve earned their high ratings. More

After a cool deal with Larry, we traded in our yellow vette for the red one. Very efficient and professional. Larry has been there before. Paperwork fast and efficient. Terrific dealership and people I got 5 star service and experience right from when I saw the car I wanted online to when I drove it off the lot (which is really a clean, well mainta I got 5 star service and experience right from when I saw the car I wanted online to when I drove it off the lot (which is really a clean, well maintained, and well ventilated indoor facility!). I primary worked with Tasho, who was very responsive. We were able to negotiate a price all via email in a span of just a few hours, including a trade in value (for which Tasho let me mail in the title later, since I didn’t have it on hand. A testament to the trust he places on his customers). I drove over the next day and was greeted by Brian (who is also awesome, and helped with all the paper work). Took me 10 mins to test drive, and another 10 mins to agree on the deal (Tasho honored the trade in price quoted over email). It was a Saturday and they were short on staff, so it took another 2 hours to drive it off the lot, but the whole process from me finding the car online to driving it off the lot took just a little over 24 hours (I live 3 hours away). Post sale service is also exemplary. The car didn’t come with a spare key, but Tasho followed up later and told me that he is getting it from the dealer that sold him the car and would mail it to me. Brian followed up with more discounts on extended warranties. I highly recommend this place, for their hospitality, integrity, but also for the cars they have there. Most cars are just few thousand miles used and well optioned, saving you thousands off of a brand new car. More

I called and worked This is the same review posted on other review sites as well. Nothing but good stuff to say about my buying experience Ultimo. I called and worked with Tasho. I started by asking some questions about the car; some of the questions I knew the answer and was using them as a test to make sure they aren’t just trying to get a quick sale, and other genuine questions about condition/radom things regarding the vehicle. My questions were answered completely honestly. I presented an offer immediately, they countered immediately, and I put the deposit on that day (pending a clean ppi). The car was a little (3-4K) overpriced in my opinion, but I had been searching for these exact specs on this car for around 1.5 years and was willing to compromise. After deposit, the dealer took it for a ppi (pre-purchase inspection) at the local Audi dealer per their recommendation (the car was an Audi, obviously) . I requested they leave my information with the service advisor, which they did, and he called me so I could ask him some Audi specific questions. Everything came back pretty good and the car was back at the dealer the next day to proceed with the transaction. I wanted to finance 25% of the vehicle so I wired the large deposit and went to my bank. My bank required the title from the dealer to proceed with the loan, but the dealer didn’t have the title from the previous owners bank yet. Completely out of Ultimo’s control, but we waited a couple of days and Tasho was extremely patient with the situation. A couple days went by and Tasho suggested I finance through the dealership, I said why not let’s give it a try and ended up with a rate almost 1% lower than what my bank had offered, and the turnaround was quick. Paperwork was sent to me next day - I signed - sent back next day (all at the dealers expense of course). Paperwork was received back at the dealer on a Monday, and the car was loaded up onto a private carrier later that day. Car was supposed to arrive in 1 day since I was only about 300 miles from the dealership, but it ended up taking 2 days before I received the vehicle. This is not the dealerships fault but thought I would mention it anyway. Tasho followed up with me both days to check the status of if I had received the car or not and showed concern when it hadn’t arrived and I hadn’t heard from the driver. He was my medium between the shipping company and myself and I appreciated his for making sure my car was delivered safely. Tasho checked up with me for the next couple of days - I casually mentioned I was surprised about the amount of rock chips, not expecting anything, and Tasho sent Audi touch-up paint in next-day air to me. Extremely over the top and again just great service overall! TLDR; buy from Ultimo Motorsport!!! More
