This has been by far the worst experience with Uftring Ford Services that I've had since starting my relationship with them in 2005. At the end of May 2023, I called to have my AC checked on my 2005 Ford Ford Services that I've had since starting my relationship with them in 2005. At the end of May 2023, I called to have my AC checked on my 2005 Ford Focus as it was blowing out hot air. They didn't have an appointment available until July so I booked it and waited for July to get here. I dropped it off and was told by Uftring Ford Services that I needed a new evaporator, but they couldn't find one anywhere and said if I could find one then they would install it for me. I was easily able to find it on AutoZone.com and had it shipped to me. Again, I had to wait for another available appointment on August 1st. Shortly after dropping off my car and evaporator, I was called and told the HVAC housing needed replaced because it was brittle and couldn't be put back together. But guess what...they couldn't find that part either and I was welcome to try to locate one. At this point my dashboard has been taken apart and not drivable so Uftring Ford Services kept it while I looked for this housing unit. Around August 7th I returned to Uftring to discuss our options and the Parts Manager was contacted and would start looking at other Ford dealerships for this part. Thankfully, the next day one was found in Indiana and they agreed to sell to Uftring. I allowed time for shipping and installing and checked back with Uftring by visiting again on August 15th for an update since no phone calls were answered or returned after leaving voicemails. At this meeting we were told the other dealership reneged and that was our last option. We agreed to put my dashboard back together and I would just have to deal with no AC. On August 20, 2023, I returned to Uftring Ford Service to take my car home only to find out that the battery was dead (just bought 11/2022) and the dashboard was still not put back together. I was told I would be able to pick it up the next day. This did not happen and again there was no communication. When contacting and leaving voicemails that were never returned. Finally, on August 28th I was able to reach someone by phone and was told the shop is busy and they weren’t going to be able to get it in until Friday September 1st. September 2nd I again returned to Uftring Ford Services and inquired about my car. I was told that my car was taken over by the assistant manager and he was not there to provide updates but the advisor did know the battery would not take a charge and they were not sure about the dashboard status. I informed the Advisor that I had bought the battery from them in November 2022 and should still be under warranty. Surprisingly on September 7th I received an email that the services on my car were completed and it was ready for pick up. I arrived to pick it up and was told that I had a balance of $525.00 and that they did me a favor and cut the labor costs in half. I asked what the fees were for since no work had been completed and I asked to speak with the Manager. The manager was upset that we questioned the fees. He explained that he paid a service tech over $30/hr to take apart and put back together my dashboard and we needed to pay him for 7 hours of work. My husband and I asked why would we pay for services that were not rendered. The manager was not able to explain but did try to compare having our furnace worked on but not paying for repair. My husband stated that our furnace would have been fixed unlike my car so again what am I paying for, and can I charge you for keeping my car for 5.5 weeks? The manager was upset and said to sever the relationship and get rid of the bill to the Advisor and dismissed us. It’s disappointing and sad to have gone through this experience as we have bought multiple cars from Uftring and has been our preferred car sales and repair business for the last 18 years. More

The service department totally misled my naive my teenage daughter and sold her an $80 cabin air filter. She was told she needed an alignment, and was under the impression that is what she was being charged for. She only has had the car 3 months and it already needs tires rotated, a 4 wheel alignment, and a cabin air filter??? Give me a break!! So instead of doing an alignment, they installed a worthless air filter and took her money. They totally took advantage of an unknowing young women. More

I work across the street from a Ford Dealership, but still will only buy from Uftrings. From the drivers that come and pickup my car for service ( and its washed when returned) to my Rep Eric Bosch who still will only buy from Uftrings. From the drivers that come and pickup my car for service ( and its washed when returned) to my Rep Eric Bosch who keeps us on schedule on all our cars to Mike Skinner / John Applin the sales rep - could not say enough good things about this dealership and its people. Not just one time, this is over and over again. Have liked other mfg's cars, but will not buy one if Uftrings can't get it. We chose cars from Uftrings knowing they are taken care of and that we will be taken care of.If you are looking for a loyal dealership, this one is it. More
I have a 2005 Subaru Impreza, I had Ufrting service the car and they did not re-install everything correctly and I had to replace my entire engine and turbo charger as well as replace my AC compressor beca car and they did not re-install everything correctly and I had to replace my entire engine and turbo charger as well as replace my AC compressor because the service tech punctured it when putting the car back together. This has cost me more than what I paid for the car to begin with. Be very careful if you take your car there for servicing. More
My wife and I are on our third Subaru Outback (2007 LL Bean). This one had the 5 year 100,000 mile "gold" after market Subaru warranty, (because we moved to the north part of the city and my wife still wo Bean). This one had the 5 year 100,000 mile "gold" after market Subaru warranty, (because we moved to the north part of the city and my wife still works downtown). For the first time last month I had to add 12 oz. of oil during my biweekly check. We had been going back and forth to the Chicago area on family business and shopping so I did not think too much about it. After my next oil change my oil change technician told me that the left side of the engine had oil on it. I called Uftring Auto Mall and spoke with Jeremy who made and appointment for the next morning to check it out. I was a little worried because my warranty had just run out 930 miles ago. After the mechanic checked the car out and test drove it he found a bad head gasket and did a parts and labor estimate to make the repair. The total estimate of parts and labor before taxes was $2,830.00. I was floored, I have been driving Subaru’s since 1996 and they all have been under warranty and they never seem to break. I asked Jeremy if he thought Subaru would help out with the repair. He gave me the phone number for Subaru customer care. I stopped and talked to Scott of the sales staff on my way out and asked him what I should do. He said that Subaru has a good reputation for taking care of loyal customers who find themselves in a bind, I should go home and call them and state my case. I called the customer care representative that afternoon and she was friendly and knew all about the history of our Subaru except the oil changes (which I had done off site with Mobil 1 and a new quality filter on schedule with the warranty requirements.) She asked me to fax copies of my maintenance receipts to her and she would submit my case for consideration. The next day I went back to the Auto Mall with my folder of records for the Subaru to see if I could use their fax machine as I did not have one. Jeremy told me that it might not be necessary as he had made some phone calls on our behalf and Subaru might be willing take care of our repair. This story has a very happy ending for us. Subaru of America covered the repair of our 2007 Outback LL Bean and even let us use a new Outback loaner while ours was in the shop. I remember hearing my wife say, after the first time she drove the new Outback home from work; "They don't have to hurry fixing the old one do they"? I can not say enough about the friendly staff at the Uftring Auto Mall. To Scott, and Howard on the sales team, Adam who does magic with wrenches, Barry the contact man, Sue the friendly lady who takes your money and makes you glad you spent it there and especially Jeremy who knows how to keep a customer a customer. Thank you from two satisfied Subaru owners. More
