I had not purchased a vehicle in 18 years and was not looking forward to the ordeal. I asked around and a good friend of mine, Rick Stephenson, told me to see PJ Adair at the Uftring Automall. Rick said that PJ would treat me right. It just so happens that one of my daughter's best friends, Stephanie Anderson, works at the Automall on Saturdays, and she knew that I did not like to go car shopping, or was not one prone to pressurized sales tactics. When I came in and met PJ for the 1st time, it was a breath of fresh air. He was extremely cordial, light hearted, and a no pressure tactic approach. He told me to take all the time I needed, which I did... 8 weeks in fact. But it was all worth it in the end. It may take me another 18 years to car shop, but when I do, I sure hope PJ is still around. More

We had heard that Uftring was good about hiring veterans and that factor was important to us, so I asked for a sales rep that was also a veteran and who was sharp on Subaru's. I found Howard Marfell to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. As a sales professional myself, I will confess to having extremely high expectations and Howard and Uftring met them in every way...great communication kept me updated regarding the timing of ordering and picking up our new vehicle, every minute detail of this transaction was covered, down to the protective rubber floor mats being placed on the vehicle, the satellite radio stations pre-tuned, we were provided with thorough hands-on instructions familiarizing us with the complex technologies in this vehicles, and an absolutely beautiful vehicle at a great price! Disappointing. I purchased a 2013 Escape August 23, 2014 after having the best 2005 Ford Explorer. After driving the escape for 5 weeks and putting less than 3,000 I purchased a 2013 Escape August 23, 2014 after having the best 2005 Ford Explorer. After driving the escape for 5 weeks and putting less than 3,000 miles on it, I decided to return and talk about purchasing a bigger vehicle, such as an edge. I was told it was no big deal and I wouldn't lose out on a ton of money. I was also told my happiness with the vehicle was most important to them. After test driving the edge and found it to be more of the vehicle I was looking for, the appraiser went to my vehicle and wanted to give me $7000 less for my escape that I bought 5 weeks previously. The best they could do was $5000 less. That's $1000 per week of owning the car. I would not return or recommend friends or family. More
