Car Shopping Is No Longer Fun I'd like to start my review by giving a small back-story. My husband and I have had an extremely rough few years, with not one, but two devastating j I'd like to start my review by giving a small back-story. My husband and I have had an extremely rough few years, with not one, but two devastating job losses. We went from great credit, to really poor credit as money was too tight to manage all of our obligations on top of trying to raise two little girls. We drove the vehicle that we bought with our savings into the ground. We have finally gotten to a point where we could get financing for a vehicle we so desperately need, so we began researching the best vehicle for us. We found one at Uftring that worked, and traveled over 60 miles to close the deal. When we arrived we had them look over our current vehicle, which our salesman so kindly referred to as a "deathtrap" several times, reminding us of how surprising and lucky it was that we had actually made it to the dealership. When it came time to finish the paperwork for the purchase, we were informed that the financing we had secured through a credible and reputable lender would not work, as we had been given a paper check to issue to the dealer. The salesman assured my husband he could secure a better interest from a different lender, which led to my husband's credit being run, resulting in another count against his already ailing credit that we have worked so hard to repair. Needless to say, we could not be approved through another lender and we were told that we would need to wait for the check from our lender to clear before taking the vehicle off the lot. This experience was likely one of the most humiliating and degrading experiences of our lives. We were made to feel like we were up to no good, and that we were not customers coming to them, willing to spend a substantial sum of money, but rather crooks trying to pass off a bad check. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone because of this experience. The customer may not always be right, but given the circumstances, I'd say no one deserves to be treated this way. This experience has soured what should have been a happy, relieving experience for my family. Thanks, Uftring. More
