Horrific service and worse follow up. Initially my husband and I were both interested in purchasing Jetta's, when my husband decided he wanted a Honda Hybrid our salesperson Jeremiah began to spew lie husband and I were both interested in purchasing Jetta's, when my husband decided he wanted a Honda Hybrid our salesperson Jeremiah began to spew lies about it being impossible to lease 2 vehicles at once at different dealerships. He changed the price on us at least 6 times, promised us a ski rack then took it back and then attempted to extend our lease terms to get the "incentive deal" they were offering. His manager Tim called us later and apologized and told me he would make things right, to "stay by my phone" 8 days later still no call back. I then emailed Pete Tynan himself, and no response. Considering I have had four family members purchase cars here in the past they apparently do not appreciate repeat business, because of this my Mother is purchasing a Jetta from McDonald's VW this weekend. More
I was treated terribly at this dealer. Unfortunately I had second thoughts after purchasing a car, when I brought this to the attention of the sales manager Tim he basically told me to screw off. Then the dealership manager Matt told me if I continued to plead my case he would not even take care of the complimentary detailing and removal of dealership logos. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone who expects honesty, integrity or compassion. If you have ever seen the movie Used Cars that is what you should expect. More
I have had a lot of problems with my car since I got it 5 years ago. Today I had a fuel pump replaced and this was the second time it was replaced in 2 years. Rick was our service manager this time. He went above and beyond and took excellent care of us. The part was in quickly, replaced in a few hours and his service was outstanding. More
This was my first visit. Tynan service went out of their way to try to locate the reason for my car not starting for me one time. My car did not act up for the dealer, no attempt to sell me parts that migh way to try to locate the reason for my car not starting for me one time. I've taken my vehicle to Tynan's for service since I bought it, and have always received great customer service. This past time, I went in for an oil change and asked them to refill the coolant, since bought it, and have always received great customer service. This past time, I went in for an oil change and asked them to refill the coolant, since it was low. The coolant had not been refilled, so I took it back a few days later. Rick came out and filled it up himself for no charge, and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. I put a 4 for price. I'm usually satisfied with their service prices, but this last time I had to have a few bulbs replaced, and I thought the labor charge was a little high, though not enough to cause complaint on my part. Everything else, from their quick service to their always friendly and helpful attitude, is worth the only slightly higher cost of taking my Saab to their dealership. More
Cost to replace license plate bulb was too expensive for a simple bulb replacement. Service reset was not comleted by the technician so I will need to call to find out how to do this. Rick (our service writer) was Awesome. He went above and beyond with his communication and service. He even drove to my house to switch out vehicles. This is a nice change to the past as Tynan's Saab has ha beyond with his communication and service. He even drove to my house to switch out vehicles. This is a nice change to the past as Tynan's Saab has had some HORRIBLE service writers. However, I was thoroughly un-impressed with the workmanship. I have taken my car in two handfuls of times for the same issue, finally, with Rick as our service writer, he put his foot down and got the problem resolved. The service employees fried my electronic's and battery with a simple detailing request. (They fixed it on their dime, but had to keep my vehicle much longer than expected.) When I went to pick the vehicle up, they still had to come out to my vehicle three times to put it back together. Thank goodness for Rick otherwise I would be done with Tynan's Saab. More
I have given this rating because the service was outstanding. Richard was very helpful with the multiple problems I had with my Saab. Also, my Saab was not purchased at Tynans, but Richard was mor outstanding. Richard was very helpful with the multiple problems I had with my Saab. Also, my Saab was not purchased at Tynans, but Richard was more than happy to help me. It was very apparent that Richard had a vast knowledge base in the car repair business. I will be buying my next car from Tynans. More
The overall experience was wonderful. Everyone listened to my needs and was able to help me in a variety of ways, I just had a heater issue, I almost walked out with a new car (which I will need and consid to my needs and was able to help me in a variety of ways, I just had a heater issue, I almost walked out with a new car (which I will need and consider with them in the near future).
