After the service department agreeing to honor a Mopar oil change coupon( on a phone inquiry the previous day, they even called be back to agree and then set my appointment)I went to Tutton the next morni oil change coupon( on a phone inquiry the previous day, they even called be back to agree and then set my appointment)I went to Tutton the next morning. Upon arrival, a service writer(guy with glasses) began checking the truck in. I gave him the coupon and explained it was agreed the previous evening that they would honor. He immediately said nope they will not accept the coupon. Needless to say after he asked me to leave and said”have a nice day” with an attitude I did exactly that. I will be sure to relate this negative experience to my peers even though it was only $50, but more so wasted 2 hrs of my day. Poor customer service …. More
Our truck required service; I brought the truck to Tutton Chrysler; I told the service advisor that the front end was making a noise on 6/20/22' they told me the noise was a common truck noise. My husband r Chrysler; I told the service advisor that the front end was making a noise on 6/20/22' they told me the noise was a common truck noise. My husband returned with the truck and was told essentially that the noise was a front noise that needed repair. We have a Mopar Maxcare Warranty that covers the truck bumper to bumper for 999,999 miles or until the year 2098. The parts are listed as warranty items; I was told by Tutton's Service Advisor Dalton Gunnels that the parts are NOT part of my service agreement. I contacted Mopar and Chrysler who stated that they were told by the dealership that the items were normal wear and tear. According to Dealer Connect these items are warranty items. I was charged 950.00 for crappy work. Their advisor was extremely rude. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO MY WORST ENEMY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! More
Jasper Jeep was a great place to do business. Sadly, Tutton bought a "golden egg" and shot it right out their butt. Incomplete service performed on my 2016 75th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler and when I r Tutton bought a "golden egg" and shot it right out their butt. Incomplete service performed on my 2016 75th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler and when I requested the $150.00 labor charge refunded because I would have to take another day and a 75 mile round-trip drive to go back to complete the service. I was told the "Operations Manager" was the only one authorized to credit my charge. No response, no call back and no further business from me. Also I am charging back the $150.00 labor charge on my credit card. The service advisor staff was super nice. However it is obvious the management is unconcerned with poor service and a very unhappy customer. More
Misled me so they could try to sell me a new vehicle. I own a 2007 Jeep Liberty, which I purchased in Canton, GA. I haven't had any problem with their service department, and when we moved north to Jasper I own a 2007 Jeep Liberty, which I purchased in Canton, GA. I haven't had any problem with their service department, and when we moved north to Jasper, I expected the same quality and service. In March of this year, however, I took my Liberty to Jasper Jeep to have them look at the front end, which was making squeaking noises. I also told them that the engine had come close to overheating a couple of times, but not all the time. We were in the process of moving again, and I was driving the Jeep a lot while looking for a new house in North Carolina. The service department had my vehicle for nearly two weeks, and kept telling us that one thing after another needed repair. When I went in one day to speak to the service manager about my Jeep, he said, "You mean what's left of it?" They replaced the water pump, saying that was the reason it overheated. They kept searching, he said, for the reason the check engine light was on and said that cylinder #6 was firing only 10% of the time. He said this was due to the engine overheating. When we talked about what to do about it, he hemmed and hawed and said, "Well, we can fix it, but you don't know when the other side will go bad, and an overheating engine can affect the transmission as well." He had me worried that my Jeep was going to fall apart and leave me stranded on the highway. I went to the sales floor in tears and asked what used vehicles they had. We could not buy another car right then because it would have affected our credit rating and might have impacted our ability to get a mortgage! So I did not buy one, but instead paid for the service we had received and left with my ill fated Liberty. Well... I have driven the same vehicle now, including numerous trips to and from Georgia, and have had no issues other than the one we originally took the vehicle in for, which was the squeaking front end that was never addressed. This week I took the Jeep to another mechanic who told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my engine and the vehicle just needs ball joints. It is exceedingly clear to me that the service manager was only interested in getting me to buy a new car rather than fix the one I have! He LIED to me, and had me believing that I was driving an unsafe vehicle... until time simply proved otherwise. (What kind of person sends a customer off in an unsafe vehicle anyway?) If I am ever presented with an opportunity to recommend a service provider to another Jeep driver, I will steer them far away from Jasper Jeep's service department. More
One very UN-happy customer! In April I purchased a New 2018 JL Jeep Wrangler from Jasper Jeep. I took it back to Jasper Jeep for wind noise they brought their “wind specialist” In April I purchased a New 2018 JL Jeep Wrangler from Jasper Jeep. I took it back to Jasper Jeep for wind noise they brought their “wind specialist” in but the noise was not resolved. Well that was the least of the worries. I started hearing a noise in the rear end took it back to Jasper Jeep. They said when they change my aftermarket wheels and tires back to the originals the noise stopped! They did not call me to come listen so NO I don’t believe that. I purchased these aftermarket wheels and tires from them so they would stand behind them. So then they stated they replaced the left axle and bearing assemble. Nosie still present! Just drive it it’s not a safety issue! Stayed a week at their service dept. that time. Took it back again for noise is still present on 10/24 they remove rear diff. cover for inspection. WHY? If you replace the axel and bearing assemble then you’ve already been in the rear end you should know what it looks like in there. No issues found. Noise still present! 3 Choices per Ryker Lowe Drive it till something happens then we will know what to fix, change the wheels back to factories or we will buy it back taking a $12,000 loss in 6 months. NO I DON’T THINK SO!!! So on 10/31 I took my Jeep to Mountain Valley in Blue Ridge GA buy lunch the next day they called saying they took the diff. cover off the back and the fluid is black and the rear end has shavings all in it! They could not tell where the rear end of the jeep had ever been into. They had to re-build the rear end. My hats off to Mountain Valley they took my problem that Jasper Jeep could care less about and fixed it for me. SO IF YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER YOU MAKE THAT PURCHASE DO NOT BUY AT JASPER JEEP THEY DON’T CARD ONE CENT ABOUT YOU AFTER YOUR PURCHASE!! More
