What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time, I was praising this dealership for their customer service, professionalism and integrity. Today, I will no longer do that. My check engine light I was praising this dealership for their customer service, professionalism and integrity. Today, I will no longer do that. My check engine light comes on, I call immediately to schedule an appointment and am given one for 8 days from the date of call. I drive an hour to the dealership so that I can wait 2 and a half hours only to be told that they can see the error code in the trucks computer but can’t or won’t fix it because it is no longer active. I was then told that I needed to bring my truck to them when the check engine light comes on. It is the only way they will fix my truck. This makes no sense. I could understand if they could not see my error in the computer history and needed proof rather than take my word for it. I would get that. The problem is, they could see the errors but disregarded them because they were not “active”. I was then dismissed by Dillon and told to come back when it happened again. No thanks. On top of all of that, I received a text from Kelly who claimed to be one of the managers. I explained my situation only to have her tell me that she would look into my situation but laughed about the fact that if I would buy a new truck, I could avoid issues with the service department! Really? Even worse, she never looked into anything and neither she nor Dillon got back to me. I can be treated like an xxxxxxx closer to home. I drove the hour, both ways, because I enjoyed the service I used to receive. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Time to find another dealership or just say screw it and buy a ford. Trade in values on trucks are insane right now. More
