Less Then Honest Company On August 15,2018 I drove from Wilmington, DE to look at a used Ram pick up. After agreeing on a price for what I was directly told was a Mopar certif On August 15,2018 I drove from Wilmington, DE to look at a used Ram pick up. After agreeing on a price for what I was directly told was a Mopar certified truck the problems began. While my sales associate was billing my Visa for a deposit on the truck an assistant sales manager came over to finalize the paperwork. He told me there was an additional $2000 charge to have the truck certified. I made it clear that I was told by my sales associate the truck was Mopar certified. His response was anything can be certified for a price. I refused to pay anything additional and asked for the charge to be removed from my Visa and to give me my card so I could leave. After waiting more then 20 minutes I went searching for my card. I was then told that they would honor the agreed upon deal. I specially asked if the truck was factory certified and I was told yes. Today August 18th I went to pick up the truck. After waiting more then 90 minutes I was taken to sign the paperwork and at that time was told that the truck could not be factory certified because of an open recall on the tailgate. They offered to certify the truck through a 3rd party company named Fidelity. Fidelity is rated 1 and a half out of 5 stars by Consumers Report. I refused. I find it impossible to believe that the sales people did not know on Wednesday that they would not certify the truck. It is my belief they felt that when I came back Friday I would just go along with what I consider their bait and switch tactic. They knew I was coming a long way and went through getting a certified check and insurance for the truck so I guess they figured I would be amenable to their deal. Either the employees are incompetent at their jobs or they are deceitful. Either way this is not a company that any one should feel comfortable doing business with. They don't respect customers time or money and potential car/truck buyers should treat them the same way by shopping at dealerships who treat their customers with respect. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. More

Painless experience I detest shopping for a car, new or used. Went here to check out a car I had found online, had Bill Wister work with me on my trade, and getting a fa I detest shopping for a car, new or used. It was the most painless process I've ever experienced in a car dealership! Bill was great; he listened to us and went to bat for us to get more for our trade. Know what you want 'cause they don't care One of the worst car buying experiences I've ever had. Staff are very unprofessional and empathetic. Your greeted by Johnny Pretentious. Me: I don't know. Him: What don't you know? Then given a sales person who seems more interested in anything that does not involve speaking or dealing with a perspective car buyer. On his phone texting while on the test drive, knows very little about the vehicle your in. I have to repeat almost every question as he is not paying attention to me. Another sales person or some type of employee walking around the show room singing and clapping obnoxiously. A sales manager eating inside the front entrance then walking out front and smoking right tin front of the front door entrance. The 'back of house' employees are far better at dealing with customers. The finance girl was very personable and engaged in nice conversation. The battery I my new vehicle died after one day of use and, again, my sales person was far fro kn helpful or informative. The service dept. Was very helpful and personable. I researched the car I wanted so I knew what I was getting. I will be using another dealership locally for service and anything else I may need. Know the car before you go here. They do not nor do they seem to care. More

We came with the entire family to look at an advertised van and our first associate Juan was dismissive with our limitations. Instead of trying to work with us on a common ground or give us more information, he would just shut us down. Our second associate, Rob was great. He wasn't pushy and spoke with us cordially, but when we went into pricing out the vehicle, they brought in what I can only assume is their 'ringer' TJ... He wasn't properly introduced and just sort of plopped down and started aggressively haggling with us. He spoke very fast (often tripping over his own words) and spoke down to us in his attempt to establish authority. Some stereotypical (and chauvinist) lines included "You're a smart guy,_____"(probably said at least 4 times throughout the conversation) "Good, you're wife's here. Woman are better at compromising." Also, take note that we saw this guy earlier on the floor when he decided to literally change inside an adjacent office that had a CLEAR sight line into our cubicle. We made eye contact and everything; Very unprofessional. The advertised price of the van ended up being for only all cash deals and when he gave us a compromised solution that we said we'd look into, he came back and said "No, my boss won't do that deal"... when he was the one to suggest it! At that point, we walked away. The whole experience was dreadful. More
