Trent 'The Car Guy' Nichols I first met Trent Nichols a couple years ago when rumors of a new body style and engine started leaking out about the next generation Subaru WRX STi. I had previously been in Tucson Subaru and had been less than impressed with the personalities of the salesman I had met or with the fact they wouldn't let me test drive an STi before I bought one. I reached out to Trent after hearing his name mentioned as a different kind of sales person. Trent assured me that he would let me take an STi out for a drive once it came in. News changed and I became less interested when I found out the STi wasn’t getting the new drivetrain. As a result, the heat was off for this purchase. New things were still happening at Subaru though. The WRX did come out with a new direct injection motor and I was intrigued, but not in a rush to run out and buy. My interest went up and down like the rumble of a boxer motor and occasionally I’d check in and see what was new. Trent assisted me throughout the next TWO YEARS staying up front and responsive when required, yet fading in the background when not. He would send me personal notes (or so it felt) letting me know what "specials" were out there, never seeming to pushing or desperate. Throughout the two years I'd been messing around with the idea of the new STi, I had stopped in a few times. Sometimes just to say hi. At one point we had been considering a new car for my wife. We stopped in and Trent to her out for a test drive while I picked up some parts for my 07 STi. She loved his honesty, his patience, and his demeanor. The time finally came when we needed to trade in her Mini Cooper S. We had been drawn into the dealership by a used Honda Civic SI that Trent had shown me. Based on her experience with Trent in the past, she told me "I won't deal with anyone else other than Trent". We set an appointment to come on down. Once she drove the SI, we realized it didn't have the spunk she was used to in the Mini. Our focus shifted back in the direction of my love in cars, the WRX. She took it out for a drive and was sold in the first 1/4 mile. We bought the car with no haggling. Trent gave us a fair offer for our car and cut to the bottom line on the WRX right away. The deal was utterly painless. In closing, Trent 'The Car Guy' Nichols is the most reputable, effective, honest, and likable car sales specialists I've ever dealt with in my life. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in buying a new Subaru or a used car on their lot. It should be stated in closing that this experience was not some impulse stop at the dealer. It was a calculated, two year relationship that ended with us buying the car from someone who felt more like a friend than a car salesman. Thank you, Trent. More

Outstanding Experience worth the drive from Phoenix! Recently I have been looking at Foresters and decided to check out the local dealers in Phoenix and didn't receive the any information or the customer Recently I have been looking at Foresters and decided to check out the local dealers in Phoenix and didn't receive the any information or the customer service that I needed to purchase a Forester, so I decided to drive down to Tucson Subaru and spoke with our salesman CJ Nichols, Well not only did CJ show me everything about the Forester, he made this car buying experience amazing. He listen to what we wanted in a car and gave us a hassle free experience, CJ was never pushy or rude and let us think about it when we went to have lunch in between. When we came back he continued working with us to help us get our new Forester XT! After that the amazing experience continued with Louie Ascencio and gave us in great detail about the warranty package that was right for us. Thanks to CJ Nichols and Louie Ascensio at Tucson Subaru for make it awesome and I would drive down from Phoenix again to purchase another Subaru! More

Best Dealership I've Been To My overall experience with this dealership and all the individuals that work there has been beyond compare. Everyone I have met there is friendly and seems to go above and beyond what is expected at a dealership. The used car I was looking for had just left their lot to go to auction when I contacted the dealer to look at it. He went out of his way to get the car back to the dealership so that I could check it out and buy it. The finance guy, Louie, was also very friendly and everyone was very accommodating of us having a 2 and 4 year old with us through the whole process. After a few weeks of having the car (which is not a Suburu) the car broke down and I called Trent, our salesman, and he made all the arrangements to have the shuttle pick me and my kids up, tow the car, provide a loaner car, and have the car looked at to see what the problem was. Every person I met during what ordinarily would have been a bad day, was so friendly and professional that at the end of the day I was as relaxed as if I had had no car troubles at all. More

I know on Sunday was his day off still he drove it for me. My Prius is doing great. I drive 100miles to my work 4times a week. The car is great job for me. So I can give 5 stars since Trent is great great job for me. He sent email many time I am ok and ask how is car. I never seen this kind salesman since I came here Tucson. Great service at Tucson Subaru When I visited the Subaru dealership I was kind of set on getting a Nissan Xterra, but had heard great reviews about the Forester so I stopped in just When I visited the Subaru dealership I was kind of set on getting a Nissan Xterra, but had heard great reviews about the Forester so I stopped in just to take a look. Kevin Woessner was a great salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the car and it's features. I told him my price range and he was able to find me a brand new model that fit my budget within a couple days. I liked how straight forward Kevin was. He knew a lot about the vehicle, and followed up with me. I visited several other dealerships that agreed to a lower price, but I was surprised that they did not bother to follow up with me. I will have to say, the quality of the vehicle, along with Kevin's knowledge, and his persistence in following up in a no-pressure kind of way made me decide on the Forester, even though the price was a bit higher than I wanted to pay. The Forester is a great car, very smooth ride, and very classy. The General Manager Loren has also followed up with me throughout the process and made sure all my questions were answered. Since my purchase, Kevin has continued to follow up with me to make sure I have no questions, and that I am satisfied with my purchase. It was important for me to work with a dealership that I would be happy to go back to, to service my vehicle. Some of the sales people at the other dealerships were really young and cocky, and not knowledgeable about the vehicle. It's sad when I know more about the car than they do! Traci in Finance was great too. She was very patient and took her time to answer all of my questions, and went above and beyond to work with me on my financing issues. I'd highly recommend Tucson Subaru. More
