Very Honest I was shopping around on a Friday, when I pulled into the lot in my cobra hoping to get it appraised, now I pulled in for a specific reason, they had I was shopping around on a Friday, when I pulled into the lot in my cobra hoping to get it appraised, now I pulled in for a specific reason, they had the car I wanted! I was searching and test driving and crunching numbers all day, when Robert, sales extraordinaire, approached me, and was immediately very courteous, and offered a test drive of the Mazda3. The car I thought was too good to be true, but wait! He offered me a very reasonable trade in, and even took some of the cost off of the already discounted Mazda, as I told him I was very interested, he waited patiently. I received a call later in the day and from there we bartered, the sales team was honest and fair, then told me there was a test drive scheduled for another potential buyer. So I waited, and he then told me that it was still available, it was a long and confusing process, but the Subaru team made every second count with their patience, as I am a first time buyer. I may seem a little biased, but the team was eager to provide information, and expressed interest in myself and my investment. Thankfully, after two days and 6 different test drives, I drove off of the lot in my 2012 Mazda3 Skyactiv, And I'm freaking stoked that I am safe and invested for the next few years because of the patience and helpful attitude of the Subaru team, Robert especially. if you're looking for a good modest car buying experience, with a team that's patient, give these good folks a visit. I had my 2005 for 9 years and it was just time for an upgrade. I knew I wanted a newer Forester and he found just the right one for my budget and needs. I feel safe and happy in my new 2018 model thanks to the great team at Tucson Subaru. I am enjoying my new vehicle and look forward to all of the adventures to come! Making it up We had some repeated problems with our 2015 Forester. Because the Forester had lost all power at high speeds on the freeway, three different times We had some repeated problems with our 2015 Forester. Because the Forester had lost all power at high speeds on the freeway, three different times, we had serious concerns about keeping the vehicle. I (wife and primary user of the Forester) was very concerned about keeping the car, even though the service department assured us that each time there had been a power failure it had been for separate reasons and that each reason had been resolved, I no longer felt comfortable driving the car. We had no ability to make Subaru replace the car, because we could not meet the AZ lemon law provisions and our warranty only covered mechanical repairs not replacement. Accordingly, neither Subaru of America or the dealership had any obligation to assist us. Notwithstanding that fact, Subaru of America offered some limited financial help if we decided to purchase a new, but not used, car. More importantly, the dealership and Trent Nichols, in particular, worked with us to get a fair deal on a used 2016 Outback. We still had to pay more than the remaining balance due on our Forester but much less than if we were treated as a customer who sought to trade in a vehicle with no history of mechanical problems. Trent listened to our concerns and helped us find a replacement vehicle that met our needs and that came close to the cost we wished t to pay. His supervisor(who had to approve the discounts we received) and Tracy, the finance person we worked with, were very helpful. Tracy was efficient but very good at explaining our options with respect to obtaining an extended warranty, alarm system etc. While we were very disappointed that the Forester had so many mechanical issues (we are in our seventies and wanted a safe, reliable car), the way the dealership and Trent worked with us, when they were no legal obligation to do so , was impressive. Based, primarily, on what they did, we were willing to purchase another Subaru which we hope will perform consistent with Subaru's reputation for reliability, cost to own, and performance. We give the dealership an A+ in customer service. More
