A little rocky. I arrived on the lot on Wednesday afternoon and was glad to wander alone without being bothered by a sales guy...which is rare. I actually had to go i I arrived on the lot on Wednesday afternoon and was glad to wander alone without being bothered by a sales guy...which is rare. I actually had to go into the showroom to find a sales guy. I ended up with Alfonzo helping me find the keys to a little red truck that had just barely hit the "bargain corral". It was dirty, cracked windscreen, no fuel and a broken A/C vent. I still took it for a quick spin and after negotiating a trade and the repairs that needed to be done we signed the contract. Chris Sullivan was helpful during the process as well. So far so good..... Things went down hill from there. Truck needed a bunch of work, so we agreed that I would continue to drive my trade until it was ready. The next day I got a call from Alfonzo that it was all ready...which was shockingly quick I thought. But, I was excited to get my new truck. I drove back down there, they took the plate off my trade and that's when I checked the truck. 4 of the 5 repairs we agreed upon had not been completed. This was the first red flag in the communication between the departments. Back into my trade in and back home in a pretty bad mood. The next day they called again and told me the repairs were all done except one that needed a special order part. Fair enough, back down there. Still a little disappointed nobody could find a hose or rag to clean the pollen off the nice red paint, or maybe wipe down the dash but I digress. Drove my new truck home finally....only to pull into my driveway and watch bellows of smoke pouring out of the engine bay. Naturally I called them back up and they agreed to send a tow truck to get the truck and get it back to the shop. Turned out the front calipers were sticking (in there defense, it hadn't done that on my test drive...so not sure what happened between test drive and delivery). I reported the exact problem to the sales manager on duty when I got the truck home, but apparently that wasn't relayed to the repair department, because the next day when they called to let me know they had found the problem they though the front brakes had locked up...which wasn't my story at all. Anyways, just another miscommunication. Very problematic with returning phone calls as well. The ONLY person that returned a phone call when they said they would was Dave in the repair department. Anyways, would I recommend them? With a pretty big "maybe" attached. In the end, they did fix the truck, but it was a rocky road to get there and better communication would have helped along the way. . Everyone was nice, which is why 3 stars (which according to DR is "Average") is my rating...without the friendliness a 2 would have been easy to use as well. Washing the truck would have gone a long ways to. I can't figure out how a lot would hand the keys to a vehicle when it's dirty and out of fuel. More
