Recently (January 2024) purchased a Ram 1500 at Truck Village and had the pleasure of working with Jay and the team. We made an unscheduled trip and they were very welcoming and accommodating. We h Village and had the pleasure of working with Jay and the team. We made an unscheduled trip and they were very welcoming and accommodating. We had our two young kids with us and, due to some delays/backlog from their sales department as we had to drive over to the Keller Bros. location to finalize paperwork, our family had to spend a few hours in the office waiting area. However, they were extremely apologetic for the inconvenience and really went above and beyond to make the best of the situation. We have had the truck for almost three months now and very satisfied with it. It was well represented in the pictures and description online and they were knowledgeable in answering my questions about compatible tonneau covers for a truck with a RamBox. On another personal note, Jay was a gentleman the entire time and was very respectful of our family (my wife was also pregnant at the time and they made sure she was comfortable while waiting with the kids through the delay). We also had a small snow squall during the process and they helped to clear off the truck to help us depart safely (which was past the close time). Will absolutely be coming back to Truck Village again and have already provided recommendations based on our experience to family and friends! Thank you, Jay Burkos! You really did an excellent job. Thank you, Brian & the Lyons family More

Uninformed, lying, over priced, ripoffs I didn't buy from Truck Village, but I almost did. I was interested in a 2008 Ford Ranger FX4 Level I they had on the lot for the absurd price of $18, I didn't buy from Truck Village, but I almost did. I was interested in a 2008 Ford Ranger FX4 Level I they had on the lot for the absurd price of $18,700 or so. That's entirely off the wall for any truck like this and I can prove that one with some other listings I found in my search: 1. Used 2010 Toyota Tacoma, TRD Offroad, Double Cab, 4.0L V6, 6 speed stick - $19,000 Two years newer, a better brand, a bigger truck, and a better offroad package. $19K is out of my budget range and I had a few concerns about that dealership's reviews. 2. Used 2006 Ford Ranger, 4.0L V6, Supercab, FX4 Level 2 - $14,000 Overall good condition truck, but it sold before I could make an offer. 3. Used 2007 Ram 1500 4.7L V8 Double Cab w/ offroad package - $17000 Bigger truck, bigger engine, better offroad package. Also sold before I could get a chance to look at it. So, we have a fair basis that there are other trucks for better price without a doubt. So, what about NADA, KBB, and the like? Well, I talked to Dave. I'm convinced Dave is simply incompetent. Book value on an 08 Ranger, FX4, Stick, with bed liner and tow package is about $14,800 as reported by the NADA. On my visit for the test drive, Dave disputed this. He omitted to check the box for the truck having a stick shift transmission, which significantly lowers its value. In their favor, the truck does have 54,000 miles on it, all from its first owner. Clean retail is $16,600 and trade in is $13,425. Too bad the truck wasn't clean. On the test drive, the A/C simply did not work at all and I'm not entirely surprised. Carfax records show that the truck was a fleet vehicle and that it had been bouncing between dealer lots via various auction services. Still, I liked the truck and made an initial offer of $15,000, leading to a final offer of $16,900. Dave wouldn't pass $17,800. He claimed the A/C Compressor had to be replaced, at a cost of $1,700, and this massive hit to their profit margins justified a higher asking price. The truck gets a 3 month warranty, doesn't cover everything, its demonstrated the complete failure of the AC Compressor which rarely fails (indicator of high engine hours), he's lied about the NADA value by failing to properly use their site, and we're still not finished. In the process of all the bargaining, they start using KBB Values. Kelly Blue Book is more favorable to the dealers, whereas NADA is a better weighted averaging of what vehicles and features sell for. Well, they lied about KBB too. Fair retail is $15,764. The high retail, for a beautiful, warrantied, factory-condition truck, is $18,014. Even KBB, the higher of the pricing services, doesn't go as high as these crooks. Buy from Truck Village if you're interested in RipOff Rate pricing. More
