No hassle car shopping. John and Scott were great to work with. It's worth YOUR TIME!! I was contemplating selling my vehicle by myself via KBB/CL/etc. or selling direct to a dealer (felt like I'd make more $ selling it myself, but felt I was contemplating selling my vehicle by myself via KBB/CL/etc. or selling direct to a dealer (felt like I'd make more $ selling it myself, but felt safer (financially & personally) selling direct to a dealer. In full honesty.... I was skeptical when I received the first call/email from Joe @ TRuWorth. Of course, I was asked to give them a shot vs. trading my car into a local dealer, but I live 45 minutes from TruWorth so I decided to look at a few of the larger "local" dealers first. As expected, the larger "local" dealers told me one thing over the phone, but once I was at the dealership (tried two of them) their stories both changed and they tried to low-ball me. I called back to Joe and politely stated my poor experience with local dealers and that I was not willing to drive 45 minutes to waste my time. In this discussion Joe was able to gain my confidence (w/o being an over-the-top, aggressive, or FOS sales person). Once at TruWorth it was very professional. They sat down with me, surveyed my vehicle, and made me a fair $ offer. BTW... it was significantly more than the larger "local" dealers in Lafayette offered. It actually gets better from here. They had a 2nd option which I won't try and explain in great detail. The cash $ was a little less, but I would get a % of the profit after they sold my vehicle. Skeptical again, but after a long discussion I believed in what they shared. I had a higher-demand vehicle in relative good working order. I made the deal for less $ up front and a % of the profit. From here, they serviced my vehicle (maybe took 3-4 days in Indpls.), then put it on the lot. It sold within 2 or so weeks and as they originally advised me... I ended up making more $ by doing the less $ + commissions option, then I would have had I just accepted their original $ offer (which again was much more than local larger dealers in Lafayette). Payments were prompt and Joe was great to communicate w/ me throughout the sales process. I'll do it again, but hopefully not for a while:)! More
