Routine Service Hybrid Service was fast, efficient and zero hassles at check out. I was put off by receiving a phone call from the sales department (and an email) within seconds of checking in asking if I was interested in selling my car. After I told them NO, they called back (a different salesman named "Steve" asked the same questions. Aggressive sales techniques and it was NOT appreciated. As I received my car from the service runner and I opened the car door, fastened my seatbelt to drive off, another salesperson came out, asked me to roll down my window and asked me if I wanted to sell my car. Tropical is GREAT for service, poor for sales. For the last time, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRADING IN MY CAR! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE! More

Good work but missed an potential safety issue Normally I am very pleased with the service work on my 2 Ford vehicles but I feel the service tech let me down this time. I brought my Focus in to be Normally I am very pleased with the service work on my 2 Ford vehicles but I feel the service tech let me down this time. I brought my Focus in to be inspected before my son took the car back to college. After the service visit, I opened the hood to vacuum leaves and found the hood support bar was only held by the small plastic clip in the front. The bushing which holds the rear of the bar in place was gone. This left a potentially dangerous situation where the rod could have fallen down onto the moving belts, damaging and disabling the vehicle. The service included an oil change so I know the service tech should have noticed the problem and addressed it. I also noticed all 3 supports at the top of both headlights were completely broken. Maybe less obvious to a busy tech but it leaves me wondering what else he missed. As far as I know, the other work performed is satisfactory. More

I have a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquise and was nervous that the parts I needed for my window were not available. He ensured me that he would do everything to make sure the window was fixed. He found the parts, got them within 2 days and my window was fixed. Also the window washer hoses were old and cracked. The hoses were discontinued but the team at Tropical Ford came through and actual made me hoses. They also helped me out with problems I was having with the hood sticking and not opening. Service took MUCH longer that I was told I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor recommended a couple of other things to be done. I asked how long it would take. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor recommended a couple of other things to be done. I asked how long it would take. He told me 45 minutes (I had already been there for an hour). I agreed based on the 45 minutes. One hour and 45 minutes later he came by and said the car would be ready in 10 minutes. I asked about the original 45 minute estimate and he said, oh, the mechanic had another car he needed to work on first. Twenty minutes later, the car was finally ready. Overall I was there for over three hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I was not kept informed that there would be a delay and received no apology. I think I'll be poing elseware for service from now on. More
