1 Review of Triboro Pontiac Jeep Isuzu
Snotty, dishonest service manager. Lied to me by claiming that my E22 recall/catalytic converter did not require replacement, only reprogramming of the PCM, that the rattling I've heard for 2+ years claiming that my E22 recall/catalytic converter did not require replacement, only reprogramming of the PCM, that the rattling I've heard for 2+ years was from my entire exhaust system, except for the converter. My exhaust system is tight. Claimed he inspected the catalytic converter. If he'd had run an emissions test it would have revealed the inefficient, faulty, catalytic converter. I informed him of an independant service technition's suggested catalytic converter replacement (because of rattling) over a year ago. 2 weeks later (after the PCM reprogramming) I get a MIL light P0420 code that translates to be a deteriorated catalytic converter. Update 11/27/2006 - Norco Auto Group Incorporated (Pottstown, PA) did the required catalytic converter replacement hassle-free. Too bad I had to take my car so far from home, but the service was worth it. I will never return to Triboro for service after the way I was treated. I find it difficult to trust dealerships in general because of this type of decietment. I will take my JEEP and ISUZU elsewhere, and steer everyone I know away from Triboro. More
