Purchased a new vehicle from Tri-Star Chevrolet. Absolutely love the vehicle. Don't love the deception and lying that went with it. Sales Manager tells me the car had a nano coating on the paint installed at the dealership and that it will cost extra since it's already on the car. I agree. Sales Manager and sales rep both let slip that the car is having the coating put on while I'm on the way to pick it up. I call them out on it during a phone call after the sale. Sales Manager denies that's what happened. When we are done he doesn't hang up his phone and I get to listen to him for the next 10 minutes tell someone else at the dealership how he lied to me because they wanted to make more on the car. During the call he tells his co-worker the General Manager, and I presume owner(he used their names) wanted to make more on the car and "what was he supposed to do". Confront Sales Manager and he eventually concedes he lied to me. Speak with General Manager and he tries to justify it before also conceding I was mistreated and lied to. No resolution beyond that. Be very careful if you choose to purchase from them. More
BUYER BEWARE CONTINUED! !. Now they contacted me and offered me the car at the discounted price--BUT NO TRADE IN!! SCAMS. I'm also sorry I misidentified the acting sales mana !. Now they contacted me and offered me the car at the discounted price--BUT NO TRADE IN!! SCAMS. I'm also sorry I misidentified the acting sales manager--I mentioned Rick when it actually was Jim. Jim also claimed the area on your front bumper that are small circles I believe they are used for object detection--well Jim claims they "never" chip and that's proof my clip was replaced because they had chipped? REALLY?? Paint that doesn't chip!! He thinks they paint them small circles with chip proof paint! He's out of his mind. VERY DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES!! STAY AWAY!! More

If you are looking at a used car they marked down, expect your trade in to be devalued the same amount. They marked theirs down $6000 so they came up with a completely fabricated story on how my car was in a front end accident and the entire front clip was replaced. HOG WASH. My car was never in an accident and they knew it. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. I hope their car goes to auction--I'll pick it cheap!! More

Needless to say if you buy a used vehicle from them look at the tires. I know its not a big deal to some but when we bought this car almost a year ago it had the wrong size tires on it and at the time ( I c at the tires. I know its not a big deal to some but when we bought this car almost a year ago it had the wrong size tires on it and at the time ( I confirmed it through the dealership) the tires were brand new only a couple months old at the time. We didn't know they were the wrong size tires at the time till a couple weeks ago we noticed they were almost bold already. I contacted the dealership to see when they were put on and again the confirmed they were new. When I told them about them being the wrong size they had me come in and look at them when they did they said they were the wrong size but that it is normal to put smaller size tires on vehicles. Which I know not to be true as I have never had this problem before with any other previous vehicles as it could cause premature wear on them. At this point we only put 18,000 miles on it and should of according to the manufacturer website should have gotten atleast double that out of them. When I was done I was told the sales manager was out for training that day and was told he would be in the following day. I called and he wasn't there. I ended up talking to the service writer and she continued with the its normal to only get 18,000 miles out of a set of tires. They also said since I didn't bring the car there to have the tires rotated they cannot prove that it was done. Which I do myself at it saves me a lot of money not having them do it. The following day I finally get ahold of the manager and he tells me that since we didn't look at the tires sizes and everything when we got the car there was nothing they could do. Only that they would try to call the tire manufacturer and see if they can warranty them out. He also offered not to charge us for the mount and balance which is nice of them but it's the fact that supposed professional mechanics who mount and balance tires for a living were negligent enough to put the wrong size on there. He told me to contact him at the start of the week and give him the tire manufacturer name and he will see what he can do. I have tried for 2 days now and he still isn't in the office. If you get a vehicle from them check everything. Don't take there word for it. I know its not as big of of deal to some people about the wrong size tires being on a car but to us right now with me being a disabled veteran we cannot afford to shell out the almost 200 dollars per tire for the correct size. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I wish that I was able to post the picture of the exchanged text messages. It was quite possibly the most unprofessional exchange I have ever experienced w that I was able to post the picture of the exchanged text messages. It was quite possibly the most unprofessional exchange I have ever experienced when buying any product and definitely the most unprofessional, unethical experience I have ever had with a car dealer. I had been working with the Tri-Star Chevrolet salesperson, Levi, to purchase a 2014 Corvette Stingray convertible. We had been negotiating about the sell price. I had offered to pay $49,500 for the vehicle which was accepted by his "boss". While they were working on the payment options for me, in Levi's words ... "the owner of all Tri stars actually came down and took the car for his personal collection." Not much more that I can say other than recommending that you not buy a car from a dealership and owner with questionable ethics. More
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE!!! I purchased a used vehicle from TriStar out of state after being assured that the Vehicle had been serviced, detailed and was in great shap BEWARE!!! I purchased a used vehicle from TriStar out of state after being assured that the Vehicle had been serviced, detailed and was in great shape. When they delivered my vehicle it certainly wasn’t clean, had a check engine light flashing and the oil dipstick was as dry as a bone! The Sales Manager, Mark Benoit, who dropped the vehicle off, claimed “i didn’t see the check Engine light flashing” Not sure how anyone, much less a Sales Manager, misses that when it’s flashing red directly in front of you for an hour drive. Not only that but all fluids and brake pads had to be replaced after my mechanic had a chance to inspect the vehicle..$1,800 out of pocket later I get a return call from a seemingly irritated and confused Sales Manager Mark Benoit who said he would send me the service records and agreed to reimburse me for the oil change. It’s been three weeks and no reimbursement or service records have been sent. Do yourself a favor, learn from my mistakes and skip this dealership. More
