Left oily fingerprints all over the inside of vehicle. Made an appointment and still waited almost 3 hours for an oil change. They are rude and offer no apology for any of my complaints. More
We are very pleased! Alexis and Dan were able to help me find a newer, nicer vehicle. And Bill in service was also very helpful, both in telling me what my old vehicle needed as well as helping me with some find a newer, nicer vehicle. Made the 2 hour drive from Knoxville to Kingsport, only to have them tell me they sold it already. They even called me back to confirm I was coming. I dealt with Tyler Neal. He handled everything via phone and emails as per my request. Our deal was made before I drove 300 miles to buy my new vehicle at Tri-Cities. No hard sell even with finance person and emails as per my request. Our deal was made before I drove 300 miles to buy my new vehicle at Tri-Cities. No hard sell even with finance person which took about 5 minutes as everything was ready for signatures. I told Tyler up front I had no intention of purchasing an extended warranty. I was never pressed to buy one. Tyler spent a lot of time showing us the many options available on my new vehicle and even paired my phone at the same time. I bought the vehicle I wanted from Tri-Cities because of Tyler Neal but next time it will be because of Tyler and how this dealership handled the entire process. More
Make sure everything is in writing. Their word is no good. If the vehicle is not right when you drive it off, new or used ,they made the sale and they are done with you. Nothing they say will be backed good. If the vehicle is not right when you drive it off, new or used ,they made the sale and they are done with you. Nothing they say will be backed up. More
I purchased a truck online since I live a state away. I asked quite a few staff members to please insure the truck was thoroughly inspected and cleaned before they delivered it to me. I was assured many ti asked quite a few staff members to please insure the truck was thoroughly inspected and cleaned before they delivered it to me. I was assured many times over on the quality of their used vehicles. Fast forward to receiving the truck: The delivery driver hands me the keys and tells me the front driver's high beam/daytime running light was out since he picked up the vehicle. Being excited for the truck, I stupidly accepted the vehicle assuming that the dealership would fix this detail. After calling, I was initially told that I had to bring back the vehicle (3.5 hour drive away) to get it fixed. After a little back and forth, they agreed to let me get it fixed at my local dealership. My dealership replaced the bulb. The next day the bulb was out again, indicating that there was a bigger issue at hand. Once again, I called telling them that I was bringing it back in. A few days of my truck being at my local dealership later, I'm told that there is an electrical issue. I tell them to call Tri Cities as they agreed to fix the light problem for me. Shortly after, I get a call from my local dealership saying that Tri Cities didn't want to pay to fix it. I call tri cities and get a heated and emotion driven excuse as to why they won't pay for it. They tell me that my local dealership should have caught it the first time, and shouldn't charge them to have the issue fixed. I don't really follow this logic, but that shouldn't be my problem to deal with. I then find out that Tri Cities already tried changing the light bulb which makes them hypocritical for saying that my local dealership should have gotten the fix right the first time. In summary, Tri Cities sold me a truck with an issue they knew about and does not stand by the quality of their inspections. More
The dealership is fine with lots of nice vehicles, however, before you drive off the lot you better make sure you have all the pieces and parts you were promised or you will get the runaround from Ski however, before you drive off the lot you better make sure you have all the pieces and parts you were promised or you will get the runaround from Skippy the salesman! My daughter bought a certified vehicle that lacked needed items and she called constantly trying to get answers if the parts were there or if they were ordered. It wasn't until going on her third week of ownership and numerous calls that she received answers, not from Skippy, but from a female manager that solved the problem in 10 minutes! Thanks to her, she now has essential items she needed. More
I came into the business last night with high hopes that I would not get the typical bull run around like you do at most car lots. Boy was I mistaken. After driving over an hour to visit the lot I was met w I would not get the typical bull run around like you do at most car lots. Boy was I mistaken. After driving over an hour to visit the lot I was met with the same run around ho hum shenanigans as you see at most car lots. I asked for the cost of a particular vehicle on the lot after test driving it and could never get a straight answer until I pulled the car up online and showed it to the sales associate. Then I was told that price was no good and there was all this “special” work that had been done and it couldn’t be sold for the advertised price. I stopped the associate in their tracks and told them I was done and just as I left the building to drive away, the manager came out and wouldn’t you know it all that “special” cost went magically away and the gentleman asked me what they could do to close the deal tonight. My answer of course was NOTHING. More

SHE IS ACTUALLY THE REASON I BOUGHT MY GLADIATOR FROM THIS DEALER. TRI CITIES IS A TRUE CAR DEALERSHIP. THE EMAIL I GOT FROM THEM STATED “NO DOCUMENT FEES”. BUT THEY WANTED TO ADD DOC FEES OF $599. AFTER DISCUSSION THE DOC FEES WERE DROPPED. EXCEPT FOR THIS SLIGHT EXCEPTION THE EXPERIENCE WAS PLEASANT AND I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THERE AGAIN. More
