They are finally under new management. I tried to buy a car a year ago I went in and what a difference in attitude and ease of doing business. I have some credit issues and they all came together to get me a great price and an approval from a regular bank. My rate was high but a full 8% percent less than I had been quoted by Wallace. I came to the dealership with the intention of my 30,000 mile service but knew I would be leasing a new car (undecided which model, brand, etc) so I was ready to sniff and kick tires. I got my car into service and was looking at Highlanders, Tundras,Venzas, and others when the service rep told me of some additional needs my car would require. I was looking at tires and even the 4 for 3 was a bit more thanI'd planned on. I then met sales VIP Frank Killian and told him of my new found expens issues and my interest in the 2013 Highlander. My current vehicle was a 2011 Highlander. Frank walked me through the new design issues, upgrades, etc. and I was leaning hard. But I wasn't there yet. Frank then engaged me in a personal conversation about family, similar interests etc. He became my friend. The rest was pretty easy. The numbers weren't quite right yet. I wanted a lower payment, and better payoff, all the usual "I want stuff" a guy goes through thinking he's really good at negotiating. Frank Killian came through with it all. OK. Too easy, right? Not at all. After walkling out that afternoon with my new vehicle I checked comps with other Toyota shops around the state. Treasure Coast Toyota had beaten the others by a few dollars but a ton of good sales practices. I am a very happy customer. More
The sales crew @ Treasure Coast Toyota are no different than any othe car sales staff. If you want your best deal, you need to make sure that you are well-informed. Marcello was excellent in showing us the care; sale nearly lost by Artie not willing or able to have sales conversation in a calm manner; sale rescued by Elaine who was wonderful; Danny was very helpfu nearly lost by Artie not willing or able to have sales conversation in a calm manner; sale rescued by Elaine who was wonderful; Danny was very helpful and patient in explaining finance component of sale. Not sure why Artie behaved the way he did; perhaps a bad day, or not comfortable selling to women? Not sure This was my same experience 10 years ago at this same dealership that lead to my purchase in 2003 of a Solara at a Palm Beach dealership. I wanted so much to make the purchase locally and support local business leaders and employees. Right after the Artie scene, we went to Fort Pierce and to WPB and shopped cars. It is only because Elaine called us (after our contact with AAA made the connection again with your dealership) and we chatted with her about our rather negative experience did she make things right. Elaine is a rock star and knows how to communicate and get things done. I very much appreciate her. More
This is my second Toyota Camry and Tommy met me with a great smile although we had not met before. Both gentlemen were very professional and after signing all the documents, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Tommy had transferred all our personal belongings from thew old to the new car as well as my personalized licence plate and gate & garange opener.
