Prior to my scheduled appointment, I wrote an email explaining how, aside from the 55K routine maintenance, I needed the door and bumper protection stickers removed from my vehicle. Furthermore, I aske explaining how, aside from the 55K routine maintenance, I needed the door and bumper protection stickers removed from my vehicle. Furthermore, I asked if that could be done in one fell swoop and if was a situation which required extra time, if I could get a loaner vehicle. Moreover, if no loaners were available, I requested to reschedule for a date when such would be available. The reply I received was “No Problem. See you Thursday.” After 4 hours and 15 minutes of waiting, I requested to speak to manager who was able to provide a loaner. Upon picking my car up the following day, my car now has 4 inch gashes on the bumper, and select nicks other places. When inquiring about the issue, I was told “I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe those marks were there before.” Firstly, its hard not to notice extensive gash marks in one’s vehicle. Secondly, the protection stickers are transparent and would have made “previous” damage visible. I have never had any issues at Lexus prior to this experience, but if this is exemplary of the business done at Lexus, I will not be returning. Furthermore, I am unaware of the costs associated with customer acquisition and retention, but I am confident both are more expensive than the costs associated with correctly removing protection stickers for a customer who acquired a Lexus Certified vehicle and was promised at the time of purchase that said stickers would be removed. Due to this awful experience, my next vehicle will not be a Lexus nor will I ever return to Treasure Coast Lexus for any service. One star does not adequately express my extreme displeasure. If a negative rating was available, no thought would be necessary for selection. More
