***CAR BUYERS & LEASERS BEWARE*** Strongly suggest potential buyers do your homework and at least read through these reviews before doing business here as many others have had a similar experience to potential buyers do your homework and at least read through these reviews before doing business here as many others have had a similar experience to what I just went through. My NEW 2023 Sorrento just had to have its transmission replaced which is xx. It pretty much died on me while driving and I was left stranded in need of a tow, not ideal for a relatively new vehicle. Making matters worst it took almost 2 weeks for the dealership to diagnose the problem, with very little communication and no urgency to get me into a loaner or rental - so I was SOL with no vehicle or compensation, despite numerous requests. I escalated to Kia Customer care who told me to pay for a rental out of pocket and they would “consider partial reimbursement”, lol. Why should I have to pay for a rental (on top of my normal payment) and chance getting stuck for all or some of the bill for an issue that is no fault of mine??? RIDICULOUS. I even spoke to the GM who lied to me about putting me on a list for a rental “even though he shouldn’t until diagnosed and authorized”. I didn’t get a rental until days later and after the authorization from Kia so that conversation was a bunch of xx. BOTTOM LINE: expect poor communication, inconvenience and stress of having no car if the new vehicle you purchase from here has problems. Let’s just say this experience made my decision on where, or should I say where not, to purchase my next vehicle an easy one More
Extremely upset…2019 Kia Optima broke down on my way home from Lancaster to my home in Dunkirk. I was traveling with my one year old grandson when my car started acting funny. Pulled over into parking lot and call dealer and roadside assistance. My motor blew up, less than 60,000 miles and I have owned the car since March of 2022. Service manager Frank was not impressed that I was stranded without a car. He said they can’t even have an engine manager look at it for 4 - 6 weeks. What should I do for a vehicle for 4 - 6 weeks? Are you serious? What would he do with out a vehicle for that period of time? This is not acceptable and I will be on the phone with corporate and everyone that may be able to help me. I work and how would Frank like me to get there? More

***AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP*** Horrible place, one of the service center employees deliberately damaged my vehicle when I went there for an oil change and it will cost me $200 to repair it. They also tried t service center employees deliberately damaged my vehicle when I went there for an oil change and it will cost me $200 to repair it. They also tried to steal my wheel lock key, but I noticed it was missing (not the first time that's happened). The service center manager has never even gotten in touch with me regarding the terrible experience I had on May 16th. I'm a woman and disabled, so I guess they thought they could take advantage of me. They were even suggesting I sell them my car for $5000 when I know I could get twice that from a private seller. Their strategy is deny, deny, deny... so I don't expect much to come of the complaint I filed with the BBB. More
***Do not Take your vehicle here for any type of repairs*** I took my Kia Forte here for a check engine light, dropped the car off and went on my way, The next day I was told that they coul type of repairs*** I took my Kia Forte here for a check engine light, dropped the car off and went on my way, The next day I was told that they could not get to my car and it would have to wait for the next day, The following day I heard nothing and called around 2:00PM and was informed they could not get to the car because the Kia Techline online service that they use to diagnose the vehicles with was Down and had been for a couple of weeks, now one would think that they would have informed me of this even before I dropped off my car, on day 3 same thing, Kia Techline was down, I needed my car so I drove the 25 minutes back to Transitowne and picked up my still broken vehicle. A few dayS later I received a text from someone at what I presume was the dealership asking how my experience was and if I could complete a survey, I texted back my thoughts on the absolute atrocious and lousy customer service and my overall experience, I was then texted back a couple days later and was told that the Kia Techline online tool was back online and to bring my car back the following week on a Wednesday. On Tuesday I called just to be sure that everything was ready for my appointment, well, guess what? At first they had no appointment scheduled for me, then mysteriously They did, but I was told that the Kia Techline Online service was still DOWN and that my car could be there for days .. AGAIN!! I then knew that this was absolute BS, and for whatever reason they were blowing smoke up my arse. I then called another Kia dealership and asked the service department if the Kia Techline tool was down, they stated it was not and to bring my car in, They asked me who the other dealership was and I told them TransitTowne, the service manager simply stated 'That doesn’t surprise me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Maria the service manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. She talks over you and blames everything on the customer. First time (and last) visitor took my wifes 2019 Kia Optima lease that needed inspection and had heat issue, the Kia it was from was to busy this week . I have worked with Mechanics my whole life (55 Optima lease that needed inspection and had heat issue, the Kia it was from was to busy this week . I have worked with Mechanics my whole life (55 Years old), this facility is a classic hack shop that runs you around and over charges for things you dont need. I don't have space here to explain the whole issue but trust me when I say, stay as far away from this service center as you possibly can. The sales people at this place should quit or ask for more pay because the service center is costing them for sure. More

We leased a 2019 Kia Optima LX from Transit Towne Kia. When I took the car in for inspection, both front tires failed! The car literally had under 24,000 miles on it at that time. Also The rear brakes, pads and rotors no less, also need to be replaced! I don’t know of any vehicle that has had this much repair work needed at 24,000 miles! I am 56 years old and do not drive like some teenagers do, in fact I drive more like an older man. Transit Towne did nothing except to tell me that neither the tires nor the brakes nor the rotors were covered. While the staff were not rude, I feel as though there was no interest in helping a customer who most likely would’ve been a repeat customer had something been done. Even if there was some sort of discounted price for the brakes/tires, it would’ve helped. i’m sure Transit Towne Kia has no real interest in this sort of post but I hope it will help someone down the line consider who and where they buy /lease their vehicles from. On Thursday, 4/15, I had an appt at Kia for 4 new tires. Melissa Miller, Service Advisor, took care of me. Melissa was awesome. She was friendly, professional, and kept me in the loop re the status of my vehicle while I was waiting in the customer sitting area. The service department was very busy when I was there and Melissa kept a cool, professional and great attitude while handling her busy day. While waiting, Melissa informed me that I needed a back up bulb which was taken care of. She also went over the Multi-Point Inspection of my car and advised that other than the bulb, everything looked good. She discussed that my brakes were good although I did mentioned that I use to be a heavy breaker. So Melissa filled me in about how to properly brake upon approaching a stop sign or red light. I have to admit that Melissa is one of the most knowledgeable Service Advisors that I have come in contact with during the many years that I have been coming to Kia for service of my car. She displays such a caring and professional attitude, qualities that I do not see in many service advisors. I also witnessed how she treated 3 other customers who were also waiting in the customer sitting area. One gentleman mentioned to me how considerate Melissa was to him. I look forward to seeing her upon my next service date which will probably be for my Kia's oil change.
