Sons 2022 jeep renegade has been in soon to be 6th time for same issue since August 2023. Parking, emergency brake,airbag and seatbelt lights coming on. Dinging nonstop. Was told by girl who answered phone if don't like car trade in for another vehicle. What makes you think I would want anything from transitowne ever. I said are you willing to upgrade vehicle for same price (less than 6500 miles).we have lost 1 months of driving car because need to keep bringing in for service. Can't do that. Will never purchase another vehicle from there again. More
Probibly one of the worse experiences buying a vehicle I've ever seen or experienced, and I've worked at a dealer for 8 years as a technician. Bought a 2020 wrangler jl from them in April of 2021. Only 20 I've ever seen or experienced, and I've worked at a dealer for 8 years as a technician. Bought a 2020 wrangler jl from them in April of 2021. Only 2000 miles on vehicle. From day one vehicle was having engine detonation issuies, differential clunking noise and brake noise. After 3 visits and about 80+ days of my vehicle sitting at there service department, they replaced the entire rear axle assembly and did a "bg induction service" . Engine still detonating and bucking and jerking violently to this day. Tsb is out to disassembled entire engine and clean carbon as its a common issuie but they tottally ignored that tsb because there techs are lazy. Also never replaced the brake booster they "ordered" for it and "installed" yet its the original part with old grease and dust everywhere on it (pictures to prove it when I got my vehicle back) and jeep fca representative agreed it looked like it was never replaced. I have texts from Rob the service manager telling me he would special order another brake booster for it and it was " a miscommunication between the technician working on it", because they knew what they did. Back and forth for water leak issuies and had all the door weatherstripping replaced, still have a water leak at the rear tailgate, 3rd time a charm maybe? Now fast forward and I have the wonderful door hinge corrosion, and there bodyshop made me wait 5 months for a appointment, and the bodyshop said it would be 2 weeks without a vehicle . Pretty disgusted and I will make sure I steer anyone away from this place and show them what they could go threw too as this over the course of 1.5 years. More
Took my vehicle in for an oil change, half way home the low oil pressure light was dinging. … got home NO OIL. They suggested I put oil in it or they would tow it back. I needed it for work the next day so I opted to put it in … oil all over my new cement driveway. They then towed it “fixed it” “cleaned it” cause there was oil all over my engine. I had to go back to get it… had left a message with the GM of the service dept thursday. Today is Monday still no returned call. My car smells like burning oil every time I drive it. It’s disgusting service when they screw up and can’t even return a phone call. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS JEEP DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!!!!!!! More

Made another appt, was told they had the part in stock and needed some other part that would be in at 6am and car would be ready by 10:30 that day. They never called, so I did, was told they didn’t have the part in stock and the car sat, they told me called and left me a message, not on my phone or any email, he was lying! Worst service dept ever in my life More
I bought my 2009 Jeep in 2011, and part of the deal was free oil changes for as long as I owned the vehicle. I signed papers and more importantly, we shook hands. I made an appointment for an oil change and when I went in today, 6/4/22, the guy at the service counter (I don't remember his name, let's call him Milke) said they were no longer honoring that deal. He said they emailed customers informing them of this. I did not get this email. I saw the signs about the price increases when I went in, but since mine are supposed to be free, I didn't think it applied to me. The guy at the counter said something to the effect that their lawyers determined that in NY the lifetime of a vehicle is 7 years, and they're not honoring my deal anymore, and it doesn't matter who I talk to because it won't change anything. Here's the truth, and feel free to tell me how right I am. When you sell a vehicle and offer free oil changes as long as the person owns it, the dealership is taking a risk. In their eyes it's a small risk, because very few people keep a vehicle that long or are driving the same vehicle 11 years later. Well I did and I am, so I win! As a matter of fact, you should be congratulating me and put my picture on a plaque in your service area so people can see that you sold a vehicle that's still running like a champ 11 years later. Instead, you back out of a deal because you think its ok, because you know most of the time someone's only recourse is a bad review on social media. Well if that's the case, there it is, there's my review. Bottom line? Until today, 5 stars, but they made a deal with me and broke it. 1 star all the way unless they make it right. More
Service department needs a little help. I had booked an appointment for an oil change at 7:30am, that being the first appointment of the day i was hoping to be in and out. I was told that when i arrived that it was going a while because i had other people ahead of me. I mentioned that i had an appointment at 7:30 and i was told that it didnt matter because its on a first come first serve matter. I was also told that mechanics dont start till 8 am.... how is it possible to set up appointments when theres no one there to service the vechicle.... The guy doing the express line was no help at all, got an attitude, blame other people, and me being ok with having to wait i had to ask where the waiting room was multiple times assuming that he was expecting me to leave and come back. So i waited and hour and a half... recieved the free oil change that i was promised when i made my lease deal. I found it extra nice that they added a tire rotation that i did not authorize.... yay me. I would assume that the work that was performed was good. But based on that experience i will not be returning for any type of service, free or not. Then they try to shame he saying that they gave me a free tire rotation and they did not More
I called this dealership about an ad they had on their website. She informed me that they had three of them in stock one white one black and one silver one and she said they were getting in a couple more white ones in the next couple days. I told her I was interested and that as soon as my wife came home I would be down there to purchase one. I asked her if I should ask for her and she said see the managers at the front desk “there’s three of them” I got to the front desk and seen a manager and I told him about the deal I came for and he led me to sit down with the sales person and work out the deal. The salesman came back with the figures and I asked him why there’s figures I came in for a set price deal he told me there was no such deal. Where did you get that from and I told them from Transitowne Dodge webpage on that day and he informed me that there was no such ad and I told him I would show him and I proceeded to pull up the webpage and the ad was gone. He said see I told you and I said why I took a picture of it and I showed it to him and he told me it must’ve been an outdated add and I proceeded to tell him that I was called by a girl named Monica and he told me the girl named Monica does not work there she works in Chicago and the number on the ad wasn’t even their number and I called the number right in front of them and it called the dealership so he was lying.And then he told me that they had some kind a system that it would connect them to somebody in Chicago and I stated to him when she answered the phone she said it was Elma NY not Chicago. To make a long story short they put an ad out there and took it down and then they had some sales person falsely call me and then lied about her calling me. Fortunately for me I taped everything and all I get out of the whole deal is the manager said he’s going to reprimand the sales associate or whoever this Monica is from Chicago. This dealership does false advertising they use trickery and they lie to you and then they expect you to buy the car at the inflated prices. More
