I came over within half an hour. He showed me the auto and its many features. We went for a test drive. I was very impressed by the tightness and overall appearance and smooth ride of the auto. We had an extended meeting afterward. He then outlined the procedures to complete the transaction. I have been searching for a Volvo V50 for a few weeks....I found this car online and contacted the dealer. It is a bit of a ride to get there so it was on my back burner, I had called and spoken to weeks....I found this car online and contacted the dealer. He left several polite messages updating me on the availablility of the car I was interested in. finally I decided to make the drive and see the car. I called the dealership and Tony was not available the day I was headed up to Boston but he professionally stated that a colleage would help me. We headed up and met Elkin. What a charmer! He was right there to meet us, pulled the car out and showed me all the features (it was love at first sight!) The car was clean and ready to drive. The test drive went very well, as did the negotiations. We needed to go to the main dealership to complete some paperwork and Elkin was right there with us, did not leave us alone wondering. I was able to sign papers and get out of there in under an hour. Amazing!...but the good service did not stop there. being that I am over an hour away, I arranged to wire funds to the dealership. They took care of EVERYTHING! Professional and complete service. We had horrible weather and this delayed my picking the car up by two days. The dealer kept the car inside so as not to get it full of snow, expert detailing and A FULL TANK OF GAS!!!! I have bought brand new cars and did not get as a good treatment. Went to get the car Saturday morning and Elkin was there with a smile, handed me the key and I was done....minutes! Really!!! Minutes! No waiting for the guy in the back room, no hours of paperwork. I purchased a 2005 Nissan Sentra in early December, 2012 which a friend found on-line and felt it was the car I had been looking for. The car seemed to be good but developed a starting problem. Brought car back on 2 occasions once when battery was replaced, then returning as the problem continued, and had to leave it overnight while it was brought to Nissan dealer to pinpoint problem and was recommended that fuel pump be replaced. After replacing the fuel pump which, was not a favorable solution for them, the car has had no further starting problems. I am grateful to Dominic, the service technician, who decided to take on the responsibility in changing the fuel pump anyway as the car is now starting right up each and every time. However, purchasing this car in Watertown was probably not a good idea as I am from Danvers and traveling to Watertown was a long, unfamiliar trip which my friend had to accompany me on as he was more familiar with the area. Due to our work schedules this was an inconvenience to both of us. It is too bad that the car could not have been serviced at a local dealership. However, after all is said and done I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wanted to purchase a car in Watertown, despite the starting problem I had, as I feel the service technician, should you require one, was very determined to solve whatever problem that may have occurred with the performance of the car.
